Came here on a recommendation. Located on a narrow pedestrian road with parking very difficult at weekends.
The staff are nice and welcoming. The owners came to chat and it was nice to meet them. The chef came out to advise on the types of meat that would pair with our preference of rare, medium rare, well done etc. I liked this level of service and we opted for a large steak to share across the table.
It took a while for the food to come out and after we almost finished a different set of steak knives came to the table which was a bit odd and slow.
There are very limited sides to order from. We had fries and roasted vegetables which were very small portion and the second portion came after we had finished our meal.
Nice setting, nice staff, meat a little tough but may have been our choice of meat.
Would come again if in the area but wouldn’t travel 45 mins just for this meal.

I highly recommend this place, excellent service attentive to detail, courteous, knowledgeable and always available staff. Exceptional meat quality! They made us change tables to give us a more comfortable table, extremely helpful! Thank you, we will be back with pleasure

I must say right away that the kitchen is great! Steaks and tartars were on top. However, so is the wine. The quality and taste are excellent. But, unfortunately, the service left an unpleasant aftertaste. At first, the manager did not want to let us in, justifying that everything was busy. Although, there were a lot of empty tables inside the restaurant and no one occupied them. Then different people came up to us to take the order, since almost no one speaks English. The waitress girl just threw a bag of bread on the table without explaining what it was at all. I want to point out that not all waiters are rude and unprofessional. A couple of other guys came up to our table, who were kind and well-mannered. One of them was pouring wine and was friendly, professional. Thank you very much for trying to fix the situation! Perhaps this attitude is due to the fact that we are three young people and therefore absolutely without money, which is completely wrong, or this attitude towards all tourists. I don't know. The most unpleasant episode was when my husband asked for medium well roasting, but they brought him raw. It was difficult to explain that this was not a problem, but simply not what was needed. After a while, the cook came out, I suppose, and asked very irritably if everything was all right now, after roasting the meat. My husband replied that everything was great, thanks! Then the cook asked our friend what kind of roasting he prefers? And he said it was half-baked. The cook appreciated and invited him to the restaurant once again and expressed his respect. It was unpleasant that the cook did not accept the taste of his guests. If you don't want to spoil your mood and feel second-rate because of neglect and lack of friendliness, then it's better to book a table in advance elsewhere. I am not one of those people who is looking for problems or likes to make scandals. In addition, I have 5 years of experience working in a restaurant of high quality and service. Therefore, I have the right to point out the unpleasant moments associated with the work of the restaurant. Thank you for your attention, I hope for your understanding.

Very high quality meat, very characteristic environment and furnished with care and attention to detail despite not being very large. I often go to this place for dinner in the summer with my partner specifically for the quality of the food, meat, cheeses, salt pans, appetizers, potatoes etc etc and the wine. I give a four to the service because, when there are a lot of people, you have to wait a long time for your orders.

Premise: 50% discount on the fork.
The environment was excellent, the owner was VERY NICE and very friendly, he made us feel at home.
