We went to this Greek restaurant near Tiburtina station for the first time with friends. The atmosphere is quiet, the restaurant is discreet, and not too busy. The waiters were kind, helpful, and discreet. We ordered tzatziki sauce, pita bread, and zucchini meatballs to share (there were seven of us), then tried several dishes, including moussaka, the classic gyros (the meat was very well cooked and delicious), and the souvlaki (portions were generally not large, but adequate). We also had water and two glasses of white wine. We also had desserts and raki to finish. We spent €28 per person.

Excellent ingredients, friendly and courteous service, and fair prices. Parking is easy to find. Thanks for a fantastic Sunday lunch.

A pleasant discovery in Rome for lovers of Greek cuisine, Symposion offers a culinary experience that transports you straight to Greece. The food is excellent, with authentic flavors and quality ingredients that make each dish a mini-journey. The dolmas, in particular, were a true revelation: perfect, flavorful, and expertly prepared. ​The simple and spartan atmosphere evokes the feel of traditional Greek restaurants, creating a genuine and welcoming atmosphere. Prices are fair and affordable, which is a huge plus. ​The only complaint concerns the service: unfortunately, it was a bit slow and slightly inattentive, probably because there were only two people in the dining room managing everything. A little more effort in this area would make the experience perfect. ​The convenience of nearby parking is excellent, a significant detail in a city like Rome. In short, if you're looking for an authentic Greek dinner without the frills, Symposion is the right choice.

We visited this Greek restaurant and had an exceptional experience! We tried the traditional gyros, baked fish with feta, and a delicious eggplant pie. Everything was perfectly cooked and authentically flavored. The staff was incredibly kind: they greeted us with a welcome appetizer and offered us attentive service throughout the dinner, making us feel right at home. Service is rare! Welcoming place, generous dishes, and top-quality food. Highly recommended!

Even though we drive past it every day, I only discovered this restaurant through an online search because we were craving Greek cuisine. The restaurant is delicious and the food is truly delicious. The service is friendly and fast. We loved it so much that we returned after two weeks! Highly recommended. The only shame is its hidden location, which makes it hard to see and therefore less well-known. PS: The baked feta with fig jam is a specialty not to be missed!!
