What a pity! We returned to Sushi Meshi after an excellent past experience, but this evening was unfortunately a disappointment. I'll take a stand in favor of the vast veg choice, the whole basic plant was excellent! Instead, the "hot" dishes disappointed us, the service was hasty and unfriendly (unlike the previous time, they had been more than welcoming), endless waiting times even though there were 4 tables in total. The dessert was the coup de grace... the waitress had no idea what desserts there were (but this can happen), when she returned from the kitchen she exclaimed "cheesecake" as the only choice, we opted for 2 cheesecakes, one pistachio and the other strawberry. The pistachio one had amaretti, no one had informed us of this otherwise I would not have ordered it. €80 to leave a little disappointed. Cleanliness also needs to be reviewed, sticky table, dust on the lamps and curtains very close to the tables. We will return once again to try the truly excellent basic plant selection, hoping to rediscover the welcome and quality that had pushed us to return a second time.

Amazing vegan sushi!!! We were really impressed by the goodness and quality of the plant based sushi, with an entire menu available and more than 60 dishes to choose from. I recommend that you point out when booking that you intend to take the vegan menu as the restaurant also has an omnivorous menu. Super promoted, very good!

Compared to any other restaurant in the area, Sushi Meshi is an exception: it is a family-run all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant, which continues to reinvent itself over the years. The menu has evolved keeping up with the times, over the years other stores have also opened - always in this province, and today it presents something that we have only seen here: the possibility of having a totally vegan menu, without giving up the appetizing aspect of classic sushi. As for the location, it is meticulously crafted down to the last detail: from the wallpaper to the neon lights, it was one of the first sushi restaurants to dictate this taste. The environment is intimate and private, with soft lighting, but also suitable for groups and families in the veranda space. It is also located a stone's throw from the sea, the perfect location for an after-dinner walk. The service is always prepared and courteous; It happened a few times that some dishes we ordered didn't arrive, but it wasn't a problem. We really appreciated the branded and carefully designed paper menus, which also featured well-written English wording. There really is a lot to tell, coming here once is not enough. The only flaw is the abundance of rice in the dishes, but compared to the overall experience it takes second place. The commitment and research behind it is possible, day after day, without ever waning after all these years. For this reason, we decide to give it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. Every dinner we have here is a guarantee of taste and quality, which in our opinion is characterized by a mindset that is not easy to find outside the big cities.
