A very pleasant surprise! I happened to be passing by and stopped for a quick glass of wine. Lorenzo and Vittorio are two exceptional hosts, helpful and friendly. Excellent wine and bread with olive oil. Highly recommended.

Now my sole wine supplier (if I'm going to drink well!)! They're very knowledgeable and friendly, and have a selection of natural wines that aren't extreme, with some truly remarkable gems. They're small wineries with strictly artisanal production, but without exaggerating what's now much more of a fad than a skill, and they have that skill. I really like their ability to rotate through different wineries quickly, so I always have a diverse selection. I personally find the selection of unique native grape varieties, especially from Emilia Romagna, very enjoyable.

Super place, not only well-explained wines but also delicious food (even vegetarian), with both classic and original recipes... finally, truly excellent value for money!

Between the two of them, they manage a room full of guests, and they do it at an impeccable pace. The dishes are solid, generous, and even feature original balances, which is a great option if you're looking for something original. The pappa al pomodoro really moved me! Well done!

Definitely a different place in the area. They're good at explaining the wines, especially for those who aren't experts but just want to drink with friends. They also pay attention to what the customer asks for. The menu also stands out for its uniqueness. I think the cabbage is absolutely delicious. Very popular... excellent for a post-work wind-down.

27/02/2026: My wife and I are North American craft beer drinkers. I spent many hours trying to find a "dive bar" (in atmosphere, not in quality) that would offer reasonably priced, Italy/Milan GOOD craft beer. This was that place! Tucked in what I believe was the "university" area of Milan, HOP had a great selection of different styles of beer from local brewery Birrificio Lambrate. The Birrificio Lambrate brewery makes some great beer. We enjoyed Cosmic (Session IPA), Atomic (American IPA), Gaina (American IPA) and American Magut (American West Coast Pilsner). Our bartender was very knowledgeable and spoke some of the best English we have heard from an Italian in any restaurant/bar/store we have visited. The other bartender/waitress was incredibly friendly. I highly recommend the bar for anyone needing craft beer while in Milan. Not the most convenient location from the Metro, but I believe our walk from Duomo was only about 15 minutes. I would give their food 5-STARS but their menu is very limited and we were essentially there at open (6p) so we only had their snacks. You many want to get a full meal elsewhere, but DEFINITELY stop in for their craft beers.

28/03/2026: I've been to this restaurant and had a very positive overall experience. All the dishes are prepared with great care. The location is beautiful, elegant, and welcoming, perfect for both a quiet dinner and a special occasion. I highly recommend it for the quality of the food and the atmosphere.
12/03/2026: A return visit, excellent food and service. The atmosphere is relaxing, elegant, and without frills. The privacy and attentive service are just right. Definitely a must-try in the area.
