27/02/2026: Frederico, Nicholas and Lucas deserve a huge thank you for their outstanding service at StrEAT Burger Bar & Restaurant on the California stop (literally 17 steps from the entrance/exit) of the M4 Blue line in Milan. My wife and I were in desperate need of some "American" burgers/sandwiches at a reasonable price. She had been in Milan for over 30 days, I was already done playing the Italian food guessing game after only 6 days. The food (supercheese burger for me, ribs burger for her--we split an order of "chips"--aka, fries) was outstanding but more importantly, their friendly service and top-quality sandwiches lifted our spirits for the night. I'll probably get this out of order, but Frederico made sure everything was perfect, Lucas delivered with a friendly, warm smile, and Nicholas provided the English/Italian translations when necessary--even when he was embarrassed to repeat/translate something said in good humor by Frederico after he accidentally poured the sludge of a wheat beer into my nearly finished glass...a mistake he rectified immediately. The three of them work well in tandem and the food is exactly what these North Americans needed to make it through the rest of our Milan experience. You cannot go wrong at StrEAT. Grazie! I wish we would have found your restaurant earlier in our trip!
