Sugo Trattoria In Roma

The food was delicious. I had the tonnarelli with cherry tomatoes and then the broccoli. The dishes were all generous and tasted excellent. I would have preferred the tiramisu with ladyfingers, but I have to say it was truly delicious. The portions were all generous. The service was very polite and attentive. I recommend eating here and will be back soon.

Everything was truly special. Highly recommended.

Found by chance... a place that deserves 10 and praise... as soon as we arrived they immediately offered us a welcome prosecco, and from there we understood that the Sugo trattoria is a place to return... we ate very well... and then.... the guys are very nice, always available and attentive in the service... Luca and Valerio are no. 1... 🔝🔝🔝

Yesterday I went to this place for the first time. It's a nice place, not too big but cozy. There were two of us. We ordered two pastries, and after a while, a basket of bread was brought to our table (which remained there untouched). The first courses arrived, and we ate them. Needless to say, the quality of the food was truly excellent! Next, we ordered two desserts and a coffee. When we got to the bill, we found the two first courses, two desserts, and two coffees. We pointed out to the gentleman at the cash register that there was only one coffee, so he reversed the amount and added the basket of bread (perhaps to compensate), all of which was served right in front of us. Now, I didn't want to argue at the time because I didn't want to ruin my lunch, but 1. If you bring me bread without me asking, in my hometown, it's either included in the cover charge (REMEMBER: IT'S ILLEGAL TO CHARGING IN LAZIO) or it's free! 2. In that specific case, we didn't even eat the bread!! 3. Up until 30 seconds ago, we didn't have to pay for it. Since I pointed out that there was only one coffee, why are you charging me for something else? This attitude is truly absurd and unprofessional, like few others. I work in the industry too, and it's truly a failure of style! It's a shame to lose two customers (since I moved to the area) for €3.50! Very disappointed. We won't be returning.

Good food and a nice place It's a shame that the service forgot our appetizers, the open door let in a cold breeze (which reached our table), and the music was a bit too loud to chat comfortably with other diners.

Excellent place, highly recommended. We were a large group and had a wonderful time. The staff were friendly, quick, delicious food, and welcoming, and we had a great time, sharing a rare sense of community. I highly recommend it.

Siamo venuti in questo posto dopo aver visto un video di Franchino er criminale e non ce ne siamo pentiti .Tutto veramente fantastico …dagli antipasti ai primi e secondi…abbiamo mangiato come antipasto polpette fritte di bollito e polpette ai funghi e tartufi…veramente buonissime e molto tenere…di primo tonnarelli alla carbonara e bucatini all’amatriciana veramente spaziali e di secondo saltimbocca alla romana altrettanto buoni…e per finire cheesecake ai frutti di bosco ….voto 10…anche per la simpatia e cortesia dei camerieri che sono stati molto gentili anche con la nostra cagnolona
