Cozy place, beautiful internal atmosphere and very attentive table service. The dishes offered are very good starting from the raw material to how it is cooked. We need to improve the plating and presentation of dishes. His Majesty the carbonara as written on the menu is truly worth it. My favorite dessert tiramisu, of which I obviously have a lot of tasting experience, must be improved by adding obviously very bitter coffee to balance the sugar. However, the idea of ​​adding pieces of dark chocolate on the outside is excellent. The only completely negative note is the bathroom, urgent renovation.

It is a singular place: the external shape is that of a small (but dignified) bistro, but the cuisine has nothing to envy of that of a gourmet restaurant. Each dish is a real success, such as the glazed potato millefeuille, the aubergine parmigiana with burnt Reggiano fondue with pink pepper, the maltagliati with chickpeas in double consistency, the cod fillet with puttanesca cream, the seared squid with cream of potatoes. Ci siamo imbattuti in questo bistrot quasi per caso, scoprendo una realtà giovane e fresca che ha recentemente dato una svolta al format e alla cucina. Da caffè per la prima colazione e alternativa alla mensa a pranzo per gli studenti dell’università a due passi, il debutto sulla scena della sera e della notte che in zona sono è già piuttosto densa ma che qui trova un mood diverso. Attento e garbato nei modi e nei sapori. Ecco quindi una nuova brigata di cucina che per quanto piccola è promettente e super motivata. C’è un menu che cambia in base alla disponibilità del mercato e si orienta su scelte mai banali, che miscelano profumi, sapori, ricette di provenienze diverse rielaborate con equilibrio, piacere del gusto, creatività intrigante e mai eccessiva. Ogni volta cene degustazione diverse, tutte da provare! Tra i piatti, il millefoglie di zucchina, fonduta di reggiano, battuto di noci e miele come antipasto, tra i primi i paccheri con ragout di manzo, dressing di zucca e pistacchio, lo stracotto di maiale all’aglianico servito con patate e porro tra i secondi, pera fondente ubriaca, caramello morbido salato e crumble al cioccolato per dessert. Un plus i prezzi di estrema onestà e il servizio di una gentilezza che si fa ricordare. Tutti i venerdì e sabato spaghettata di mezzanotte con un calice a 13 Euro da provare assolutamente, anche perché un unicum e non solo in zona. E chissà che non diventi dopo l’aperitivo la vera happy hour capitolina? Una nuova tendenza che ci piace molto!
