Sugo Emporio In Roma

The place is no longer called that. Excellent food, nice location, maybe a little noisy, but overall good. The service is something exceptional. Take for example, the waiter (Antonino I think...) explained and recommended everything to us in detail, from the dishes to the drinks. He made a simple dinner an experience to remember. We will definitely be back!

Excellent restaurant in the Porta di Roma district, a stone's throw from the shopping centre. The staff is very nice and courteous. The food is really great! It is advisable to book as it is very popular. High attention to allergens.

Always a high-quality restaurant, with a refined menu and really good dishes. I have always found a valid choice of wines and the service always courteous and prompt. A little crowded but it's a sign that the place is valid and popular. In my opinion, it was especially pleasant for lunch.

The place is no longer called Sugo Emporio but Nicco 24. It is a grill but also prepares appetizers and Roman first courses. The first courses we took were very tasty (perhaps a bit too salty) and the vegetables, such as chicory and chicory, were fresh and tasty. The meatballs in sauce didn't fully satisfy me. The portions are good and not skimpy like somewhere else. Prices normal.

Sabato scorso sono stato a cena in questo locale in zona Bufalotta/Tufello insieme a mia moglie ed alcuni amici. Uno di loro in particolare mi ha parlato molto bene della vecchia gestione, così abbiamo deciso di provare anche la nuova. Per antipasto abbiamo preso una bruschetta stracciatella e pomodorini, due tartare con lime e peperoni e due porzioni di polpette al sugo. A seguire, i primi che abbiamo preso sono stati: rigatoni con la coda, amatriciana, gricia e cacio e pepe. Di contorno abbiamo ordinato verdire grigliate, caponata e patate al forno. La mia tartare era veramente buona, mentre sulla pasta un paio di appunti devo farli: avrei gradito una porzione più generosa ma soprattutto un po' di condimento in più (mi riferisco soprattutto alla carne). Con un dolce, due acque, due rossi e 4 digestivi abbiamo speso 33 euro a persona circa. Prezzo assolutamente equo visto il periodo di rincari. Sono curioso di provare l'altro locale di Sugo, comunque questo, piccole critiche a parte, è sicuramente un posto che merita.

Place away from the chaos of the centre, good dishes and excellent quality of the meat

The place is nice, the menu has a vast assortment of first courses from Roman cuisine but specializes in meat. Meatballs with sauce are good, but the special ones are meatballs with cheese. The costs considering the location are a bit high.

I ragazzi di Nicco sono sempre gentili e simpatici. La cucina è ottima, l’ambiente informale. Un posto piacevole sia a pranzo che a cena.
