We were passing by (in August) and trying to find a place to have lunch, as you may know most restaurants close for the afternoon in Sardinia off season, so we decided to try a beach bar, and we are glad that we did. The location is great, the food was tasty and the portions were nice and big. The staff is friendly and helpful, and prices are good. And the view is stunning.

The price-performance ratio is just about okay. Unfortunately, both dishes were very blandly seasoned, and salt and pepper weren't readily available. The wait time was okay, but the glasses had seen better days. The service wasn't particularly friendly. The restroom is surprisingly good.

Update: Criticism also serves as information and a way to improve a situation. If you can accept it, great. If not, you'll just stay where you are and be overtaken by others at some point. A deadbolt on the door should be within sight and reach, and where you would normally expect it. A person in a wheelchair can't reach it either. * The Quattro Stationi pizza was watery, and the artichokes were probably from a can. Actually, a nice location, right by the sea, but the restrooms spoil the feel-good factor because 1. they were very cramped and stuffy, and 2. they couldn't be locked. They were container toilets...

I realize that every review is a snapshot in time, but I can't explain such huge differences. We came for dinner without a reservation. The service was super friendly, and everything from the appetizer to the main course was excellent. Dessert was too large for us to eat. The prices were reasonable. We enjoyed the evening.

Restaurant with adjoining beach club located on the beautiful sandy beach of Orrí Excellent cuisine, prompt, friendly, and impeccable service. Prices are in line with the quality offered and the option of lunch and dinner by the sea. Special thanks to all the staff and a special shout-out to the attentive lifeguard and friendly bartenders. A surprising selection of grappas for a welcome return. Highly recommended.

The food was delicious. Despite the restaurant being full (2:00 PM), we didn't have to wait long. The staff does their very best... Location right on the beach - there's everything your heart desires! My panino "su stanco" wasn't quite hot - I immediately asked the chef, politely, if I'd like it hotter. My request was fulfilled in a similarly friendly and welcoming manner! 9 out of 10 for me! WE'LL BE AGAIN! Elli from Austria

10/10/2025: The Golgo plateau is an unexpected place, far from the hustle and bustle of Sardinia, lost in time. The restaurant is surrounded by greenery, peace, silence, and animals. The wood and stone interior transports you to the past of Sardinian shepherds. The food is excellent; we chose the suckling pig, which is available by reservation and is truly exceptional. The wine selection is extensive and varied.

10/11/2025: The pizzas are delicious! And the bar downstairs is very nice!
18/10/2025: Our son was here with his girlfriend in 2018. He recommended the restaurant to us with roughly these words: "It looks pretty run-down. Downstairs, a long counter where the village men with their faces are hanging around. Upstairs, a surprisingly nice terrace. But the food is really good and the people are really nice. We were truly spoiled. If you pass by, go for it." Well, we passed by yesterday, October 17, 2025. I wrote to our son: "They must have invested heavily. The restaurant is top-notch. The village men have also changed or are hanging around somewhere else. But two things have remained the same: The food is among the best we've had in Sardinia. Gnocchi with goat ragu and polpette, also made with goat, on a bean purée. Sensational. And the owner and his son were great. Thanks for the recommendation." We recommend this restaurant. For the hearty cuisine. Because of the warmth of the owner family. Grazie mille.
