Su Cumbidu - Specialita di Mare In Cagliari

My husband and I had dinner at Su Cumbidu. Everything was fantastic: mussels, fregola, spaghetti, and wine! The waitress was very friendly, and the gentleman who recommended the wines was too.

Typical Sardinian restaurant. Rustic and impressive atmosphere. Cuisine with attention to detail and flavors. I'll be back.

Located in the heart of Cagliari, Su Cumbidu Mare was a delightful discovery for a lunch featuring traditional Sardinian seafood. Here's our experience: The Atmosphere and Service ​The restaurant has a very distinctive character: the atmosphere is quaint and welcoming, with a vintage touch that immediately conveys a sense of familiarity and history. It's not your typical pretentious place, but a place where you immediately feel at home. The staff was impeccable: attentive, friendly, and attentive, attentive to the customer without ever being intrusive. ​The Menu: The real star, however, was the food. We opted for an all-fish menu: ​The First Courses: We ordered two fish-based first courses, both expertly prepared, where the freshness of the ingredients shone through in every bite. ​The Fried Fish: Next, an excellent fried fish platter. Crispy, dry, and incredibly flavorful, definitely one of the best I've tried recently. Dessert: The finale was the highlight. We sampled a typical Sardinian dessert that was extraordinary: without a doubt the best we've had in the entire Cagliari area. A perfect finale that alone is worth the visit. In summary: If you're looking for an authentic place, where courtesy reigns supreme and seafood cuisine respects tradition with the highest quality, Su Cumbidu Mare is a must-see.

They welcomed us without a reservation at 1:40 PM, with exceptional warmth and kindness, Franco to be precise, who pampered and spoiled us throughout lunch. I've never seen such kindness and availability, in addition to great friendliness. Excellent food and super plentiful. Spaghetti with clams and bottarga deserved first prize in any challenge.
