16/07/2025: Godiva Restaurant is one of those choices that immediately strikes you, not only for its cuisine but also for its enchanting location. Situated directly overlooking the sea on Isola delle Femmine, it offers the option of dining al fresco, enjoying a picturesque panorama, where the sound of the waves accompanies the dining experience and creates a truly relaxing and romantic atmosphere.
We decided to opt for an entirely seafood-based menu, and each course was a pleasant surprise for its freshness, quality of ingredients, and creative pairings. Of all the dishes, we were won over by the bruschetta with shrimp and stracciatella: a balanced blend of the sweetness of the shrimp and the enveloping creaminess of the stracciatella. A true explosion of flavor.
An honorable mention also goes to the lobster, served with an assortment of sauces expertly crafted to enhance the delicate flavor of the crustacean without ever overpowering it. Each sauce added a different and interesting note, making the dish versatile and refined.
To accompany everything, we chose a glass of Babbìo, a wine we weren't familiar with but which amazed us with its elegance and freshness, perfectly in keeping with the tone of the meal and capable of enhancing every course.
Another strength of the Godiva Restaurant is undoubtedly the wait staff, who were kind, friendly, and highly knowledgeable. We asked several questions about ingredients and wine pairings, and every answer was answered with expertise and passion, making the experience even more engaging.
16/07/2025: We stopped in for a quick pizza and were pleasantly surprised by both the location, with its terrace overlooking the sea, and the pizzas, with slightly more sophisticated ingredients than usual, but still very good.
