Strada Romana Restaurant In Roma

A lovely, typically Italian restaurant. The food and wine were excellent. The tiramisu with candles was delicious. The Italian music made it an unforgettable evening. We would go there again.

Prima volta in questo locale molto bello e ristrutturato recentemente (e si sta ampliando) in chiave contemporanea, buona la pizza ed i supplì, prezzi nella media romana, ottimo il servizio del cameriere nonostante fossimo tanti (credo si chiamasse Salvatore ) vicinissimo alla stazione Fs tiburtina

The food was beautiful, service was great and atmosphere was lovely..inside decor was beautiful. Definitely a must see! Hidden gem.

Stradaromana felt like stepping into a truly traditional Roman dining room, packed with more locals than lost tourists, which was a great sign! We started strong with bruschettas that were like a delicious topping party. The carbonara was on point, and the spaghetti? Absolutely chef's kiss amazing, even if the meat had a brief identity crisis as ham. The lasagne was clearly a labor of love, and it tasted like it. To finish, Tiramisu and Panna Cotta swooped in to save the day (and our sweet tooths). Overall, a pretty darn tasty and authentic Roman adventure!

The seafood risotto was one of the best I’ve had in Rome—creamy and flavorful. If you’re a seafood lover, the grilled swordfish is definitely worth a try—perfectly cooked with a nice char and great seasoning. The overall atmosphere was pleasant and the service was good. Just shy of perfect, but still highly recommended for a quality seafood meal in the city!

Abbiamo deciso di concludere il nostro weekend a Roma mangiando in questo locale, recensito molto bene.. ma purtroppo non è andata proprio alla grande. Partendo dal tavolo, sistemato a 30 centimetri da un'altra tavolo dove si son seduti dei signori spagnoli che ci è toccato avere affianco come se mangiassimo tutti insieme. Ordiniamo 2 primi, gricia e carbonara. Per quanto riguarda la gricia, strapiena di pezzi di pepe macinato a mano e quindi in pezzi molto grossolani, pasta per niente legata e salsa quasi assente. Ma la delusione è stata sulla carbonara, l'unica cosa che mi ha soddisfatto è stata la cottura della pasta. Per quando riguarda la carbocrema, per nulla compatta, molto chiara infatti son sicuro che era stata allungata con qualcosa di grasso (voglio sperare che non abbiano azzardato con la panna). Il guanciale, fatto sfumare sicuramente col vino bianco, sapeva solo di vino appunto. Molto meglio il secondo, trippa alla romana anche se era strapiena di formaggio ed il sapore della trippa quasi si perdeva. Tutto sommato la cena è stata sufficiente. Avrei dato 4 stelle se non fosse per il fatto che il cameriere ci passava spesso affianco, quasi addosso, per passare ai tavoli a noi adiacenti. Molto bello il locale, però se dovessi ritornare a Roma, ci penserei un attimo prima di prenotare di nuovo.
