Large selection of sandwiches. Warm, crispy bread. A small place for connoisseurs.

The food is great... the place itself is very cramped... and we had to wait quite a while for 3 baguettes.

Came for a “brunch” sandwich and was not disappointed. It was fun to watch the guy behind the counter slice the meats and assemble our sandwiches. The green Drenante juice wasn’t too sweet and had a few ice cubes in it to cool it down, which was a nice touch. The price for sandwiches and drinks were fair and service was fast and efficient.

Every bit as good as the more famous sandwich shops in town, and without the wait.

We stopped here for lunch on a hot day in Rome. There are a few tables but many people seem to take their sandwiches to go. We were lucky to get a table. You order at the counter. The sandwiches looked absolutely delicious and everyone in my family loved theirs. I had a salad that had very fresh ingredients and was delicious.

Simply delicious. They also had vegetarian options.

I almost don't want to tell people how good these sandwiches were. I walked past other sandwich places with long lines. I don't know what they could do that is better than Sto Bene. I would go back every day. Crunchy bread, range of meats and vegetables. Our salad or hot dish if you want. Mostly local people going in and out by the look. I had Pasquino, and my son had Marforio. Only left crumbs . Shhhhhhh. Don't tell anyone.

Excellent. The paninis were delicious. We had the Facchino the Colesso and the Farnessie. The customers were mostly local business people. The service was fast and friendly. Definitely recommend for a local taste of Rome.
