Stella Maris In Camogli

A little corner of paradise in Punta Chiappa Stella Maris is a small hotel with a truly unique location, reachable only by boat. The hotel is totally immersed in nature with lakes and cute turtles, sunbeds and a swimming pool where you can relax and enjoy the spaces surrounding the fantastic suites. A stone's throw from the hotel there is also the possibility of swimming at Punta Chiappa. The view is wonderful and exciting especially in the evening. We decided to eat at their restaurant and in addition to the view we were able to appreciate sublime cuisine with quality products. Michela and Andrea were fantastic hosts, welcoming and always ready to listen to our needs. I will definitely return!

The Hotel Stella Maria in Camogli is an ideal choice for those looking for a holiday immersed in nature, with a breathtaking view and unparalleled tranquility. Located in a privileged position, the hotel offers a unique view that amply repays the effort needed to reach it. Access to the structure can be challenging: you can opt for a path lasting around 40 minutes, which requires a certain physical effort, or choose the more convenient route of the ferry. Again, however, you need to walk another 10 minutes on a path and face some stairs before arriving at the hotel. The property is well maintained, with large, clean rooms that ensure a comfortable stay. However, the swimming pool does not live up to expectations and deserves more care. Even the breakfast, although acceptable, could be improved with a wider and more varied choice of products. The restaurant service, however, is of a good standard. We had dinner enjoying dishes prepared with fresh, quality ingredients, even if the prices are not cheap, partly justified by the isolated location and supply difficulties. The staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to assist guests with a smile. In summary, the Hotel Stella Maria is recommended for those who want to relax away from the chaos of the city, but is only suitable for those who are not afraid of having to move a bit to reach this little corner of paradise.

We were lucky to randomly find this hotel. The place is located in the beautiful bay and outside of the crowded touristic routes. This is the place where you’ll find tranquility and piece of mind. The access to sea is free, the cliffs look amazing with lots of fish and underwater life. Staff are very friendly and helpful. All great, we will be back!
