A little corner of paradise in Punta Chiappa Stella Maris is a small hotel with a truly unique location, reachable only by boat. The hotel is totally immersed in nature with small lakes and friendly turtles, sun loungers and a swimming pool where you can relax and enjoy the spaces surrounding the fantastic suites. A stone's throw from the hotel there is also the possibility of swimming in Punta Chiappa. The view is wonderful and exciting especially in the evening. We decided to eat at their restaurant and in addition to the view we were able to appreciate sublime cuisine with quality products. Michela and Andrea were fantastic hosts, welcoming and always ready to listen to our needs. I will definitely be back!

Iniziamo col dire che questa struttura gode di una location davvero unica e suggestiva, oltre ad essere difficilmente raggiungibile (per fortuna). Ci ha permesso di fare una vera pausa rilassante dalla frenetica vita di città. Camera caratteristica, ampia e con una super vista sul golfo di camogli. La cucina del ristorante ci ha deliziato con ottimi piatti di pesce, veramente gustosi. Ci teniamo a fare un complimento sincero alla cucina! Infine, segnaliamo che l’unica nota stridente è dovuta al servizio: personale poco competente, non proprio cordiale e svogliato. Ho invece apprezzato la disponibilità ed accoglienza del titolare. Ogni anno almeno una mangiata da loro merita farla, continueremo la tradizione.

Access to the structure can be challenging: you can opt for a path of about 40 minutes, which requires a certain physical effort, or choose the more comfortable route of the ferry. Even in this case, however, it is necessary to walk for another 10 minutes on a path and face some steps before reaching the hotel. The structure is well maintained, with large and clean rooms that ensure a comfortable stay. However, the swimming pool does not live up to expectations and deserves greater care. Even the breakfast, although acceptable, could be improved with a wider and more varied choice of products. The restaurant service, on the other hand, is of a good standard. We had dinner enjoying dishes prepared with fresh and quality ingredients, even if the prices are not cheap, justified in part by the isolated location and the difficulties of supply. The staff is kind and helpful, always ready to assist guests with a smile. In short, the Hotel Stella Maria is recommended for those who want to relax away from the chaos of the city, but it is only suitable for those who are not afraid of having to move a bit to reach this little corner of paradise.

We were lucky to randomly find this hotel. The place is located in the beautiful bay and outside of the crowded touristic routes. This is the place where you’ll find tranquility and piece of mind. The access to sea is free, the cliffs look amazing with lots of fish and underwater life. Staff are very friendly and helpful. All great, we will be back!
