Neighborhood restaurant, good Roman pizza, thin and well-topped, plenty of fried foods, the rest is good, some good, some less so...

A nice place in the Conca d'Oro neighborhood, near Via dei Prati Fiscaldi, with plenty of tables inside and a few outside. Good Neapolitan pizza. Excellent fried food. Very good desserts. Prices are a bit high considering we're certainly not in the city center or one of the famous pizzerias that have invaded Rome. My rating is only 4 and not even 5 due to the price, as mentioned, and also due to the restaurant managers, who could be more helpful and less rigid. For example, I made a reservation for four, but three of us showed up due to one of the guests' fever; the cashier still charged me for four people. We also showed up without a reservation before 8 p.m. several times, and were told they were fully booked when the place was still almost empty. They could seat us, perhaps explaining that we had to leave within an hour due to reservations. There's room for improvement.

Good value for money Varied menu

I've been going to Stella Gemella since it opened. The pizza is super good, thin, just the way I like it, and wood-fired, with delicious fried food. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, even with small children! There must be a reason I've been going there for 28 years.
