A surprise. The place is welcoming, as are the staff, including the owners, who are humble yet very elegant. The food is excellent, worth a try. The overall satisfaction is excellent.

We happened to be passing by and were looking for a place to eat, and stumbled upon this truly beautiful establishment. The food was truly delicious; we had a tasting of hot and cold appetizers, both delicious and tasty. Then we moved on to the main courses, with a delicious fried calamari and shrimp with battered vegetables, crispy and light, and a tuna steak with honey and pistachios on a bed of arugula... Truly divine!! Fresh fish, everything delicious... highly recommended. A word for the manager, the owner's wife, who was extremely kind, professional, and attentive to her customers. She was truly the icing on the cake, making the lunch even more enjoyable. At the end, she also offered us a gentian and a ratafia. Very good value. For two people, one complete appetizer, two main courses, and a bottle of wine, €80.

Beautiful restaurant next to the lido. With a sea view. I ate fish, with truly excellent dishes. The staff was always very courteous and helpful.

We visited this truly enchanting place, where the owners' kindness reigns supreme. A delicious menu and spectacular dishes add magic to a charming dinner. Recommended.

Once managed by an old schoolmate of mine, the facility fell into disrepair, and new management took over, but not before a radical renovation in which the new owners invested heavily. The establishment isn't a stellar one, as its name would suggest, yet the professionalism of its staff and the great commitment they put into managing the beach and infrastructure, as well as the good performance of its restaurant and bar, place Stella D'Oro in an excellent position among its competitors. Prices, both for infrastructure and for food and bar service, are reasonable.

I recommend it, especially for those who are in Italy for the first time. Very friendly staff. We were accepted without a table reservation on Saturday evening, we had to wait a bit, but the order was accepted and served in 10-15 minutes. We ordered seafood dishes, everything was very decent. The prices are reasonable, it is very likely that we will visit this restaurant more than once. Thank you.

What can I say. This restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The quality and freshness of the dishes were exceptional. If we were to return to Francavilla al Mare we know for sure where to return to eat exceptional fish dishes.
