We returned with my husband 3 years later and we ate very well!
The service was perfect, the welcome, the atmosphere, the waitress who made the effort to speak French to my husband even though she had gaps in the language.
The dishes are always as good and refined.
I'm going to introduce this place to my best friend this summer 😉
I reiterate, a great discovery 😊 that I continue to discover each time I pass through the surrounding area.

Bel locale, nel centro città.
Un po’ difficoltoso nel trovarlo .
Bella mise en plance , senza fronzoli , essenziale .
Discreta amuse-bouche con giardiniera , macaron e polentina con formaggio.
Bagna caoda rivisitata con zuppa di miso straordinaria per la sua composizione , tartare di vitello gasconne in alternativa alla fassona ,buona.
Straordinari gnocchi di castagne con lardo di Arnad e miele .
Ottimi spaghetti monograno Felicetti con dentice, aglio olio e peperoncino.
Gelato di arachidi con cristalli di sale inglese straordinario come pre dessert.
Dolce di marroni alcuni al genepì,anche questo piatto molto buono e particolare.
Carta dei vini ampia con ricarichi un po’ generosi.
Titolari particolarmente affabili e gentili . Atmosfera veramente piacevole

I had the pleasure of having dinner in this very nice and well-kept place, clean and with up to par staff, given that the owner has a real passion for cooking, I honestly think it is one of the best restaurants in Aosta if not the best at the moment... the dishes work, they are well balanced and you understand the work behind each of them... some small details in the service with some small gifts which in my opinion should also be followed by other restaurateurs... I applaud the tenacity and passion

Describing this restaurant in words is a bit complicated because it doesn't convey the idea of the experience. Even the photos wouldn't do it justice but let's try.
Let's start with the environment: the restaurant is a beautiful place with solid wood tables set specifically for the various courses. It consists of a first entrance hall where you are welcomed by the very kind and extremely knowledgeable dining room staff. To get to the main room you go down a glass staircase.
It is a room overlooking the kitchen with vaulted arches.
I rate the environment excellent, very warm and welcoming as is the service.
But let's move on to the main dish: food. The menu has a decent choice with a great study on seasonal rotation behind it. They explained to us that the only fixed dishes that remain are the foie gras escalope with scallop and the rack of lamb with mountain herbs (which we also tasted and understood why they remain fixed, truly delicious).
There are various menu options, from a la carte to tasting menus.
Try to come hungry because we regret not having taken the tasting menu which consists of 4 courses or 6 courses.
Each course is a study of balanced flavors that create an incredible harmony on the palate. All presented and explained impeccably. Every dish we saw passing by looked like a masterpiece (not just to the eye). Adequate and almost abundant portions.
We start with some amuse buche and 3 types of bread made by them, served with fresh herb creams and Sicilian oil designed to go with the bread.
The courses then arrive little by little under the watchful eye of the dining room staff who really did a perfect job, together with the chef.
The icing on the cake, if you linger, the chef comes by to say hello to collect your comments. Besides being really good, he is very nice, like his wife.
Amazing value for money. For two courses each, bottle of wine, glass of brandy and coffee we spent €145 for two and we left really full and very happy.
Too bad it's not around the corner because we would love to go back often.

Volendo vedere il marché vert noel, abbiamo cercato un locale vicino al centro, ma nello stesso tempo che fosse un posto dove mangiare bene e trovare gentilezza, professionalità e empatia.
Direi che abbiamo centrato il posto giusto!!!
Abbiamo pranzato scegliendo alla carta, gli antipasti ottimi. I ravioli di faraona mi hanno sorpresa per il gusto e la delicatezza.
Ottimi secondo e dessert.
Il servizio è stato ottimo.
Siamo usciti contenti e soddisfatti!!!
