Status Quo In Roma

This was our first time in Ostia/Rome and we wanted to test a few vegan restaurants in this area =) First stop was Status Quo - really nice location - we liked the industrial style kinda look with all the plants coming down the ceiling - the food was great, is seasonal and fresh. We had salads with spinach and avocado, lemon tempeh with green beans and tagiatelle with nut sauce - the taste was fantastic! maybe we'll do a second visit this holiday ;)

Just steps from the city center, Status Quo is one of the rare vegan oases on the Roman coast. A simple, elegant, and intimate venue, it offers a varied, seasonal menu, with dishes that will win over even non-vegans—from creative burgers to more sophisticated options. The excellent wine list is anything but a given. A place that can compete with more renowned Roman restaurants, without losing its own identity. Stat'm' buon'! 🌱🌿

A very positive experience! The dishes are rich in flavor, with original flavors and interesting combinations that pleasantly surprise. We'll definitely be back.

This is an infinitely pleasant place, the waitress is just lovely, helped with the choice of food. We were with family, not vegans, but all the dishes were delicious, everyone liked it, thank you very much!!!

Every time I pass through Ostia, I go here, to Status Quo! The reason? Delicious and varied vegan food, very friendly staff, and a relaxing atmosphere! So delicious. Oh, and I almost forgot... Low prices for such high quality.

The place is lovely, the staff friendly, and the food delicious and reasonably priced. Honestly, I have no complaints; it was a dinner we'll remember, and I'm a very picky customer. We had a mixed appetizer (bruschetta with sun-dried tomato and agretti hummus, fried sage, and battered zucchini flowers with a delicious filling, served with two types of homemade mayonnaise for €15), a first course (tagliatelle with hazelnut and porcini mushroom ragù, creamy, filling, and flavorful, €14), and a second course (mixed grill with cauliflower topped with a "cheesy" cream, mixed mushrooms, bruschetta with avocado, and "sausage"-stuffed friggitelli peppers, all accompanied by a delicious wine reduction, €16). A glass of excellent Sardinian Vermentino was also included at a reasonable price of €5. Honestly, one of the best vegan dinners I've ever had. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back.

Non sono vegano ma amo la cucina in genere e la vegana e tra le mie preferite. Qui si può mangiare vegan in un ambiente carinissimo adatto a coppie o amici che vogliono mangiare con tranquillità una cucina di tutto rispetto senza cadere nella banalità di chi propone amatriciane o carbonare vegane.. Abbiamo assaporato invece dei gustosi Antipasti primo e secondo cucinati con fantasia ed abilità Chiusura con dolci di tutto rispetto. Consigliatissimo!!

Scoperto una domenica per caso con il mio compagno e siamo stati molto soddisfatti! Piatti ben presentati e ottimi dai primi al dolce , ieri ho portato le mie amiche e sono rimaste molto contente !
