Truly beautiful location, informal and fast service. Special attention is paid to the finest ingredients, especially from the cellar.

The place looks good. Renovated and well-maintained. In my opinion, the positives stop there: the food and experience weren't up to par. They fed us in 25 minutes, with the appetizer decidedly bland, one of the first courses too salty, and the second course too garlicky. There are definitely better options in Matera.

Recommended by colleagues from Matera, near the Sassi, so easy to get to. The place is meticulously maintained down to the last detail. We started with the house appetizers, two courses, each more fantastic than the last, featuring typical, fresh, and delicious ingredients. Then came the first courses, excellent, from the orecchiette with crusso peppers to the broken tagliolini with fava beans, a true ode to culinary wonder. The fried artichokes, the "chiacchiere" with ricotta, something spectacular, and the "rosé verb" (rose verb) were excellent. Everything was recommended by Davide, who looked after us from start to finish with the utmost care and professionalism. Congratulations, a place to stop and always return to when in the area.

My friends and I had dinner at this restaurant on Saturday evening, we ate very well and if you are in Matera on holiday book because you won't regret it,,, highly recommended.

A very welcoming place, with plenty of seating, and truly delicious food. We also loved the warm bread with olive oil to mop up the bread. A must-see if you're in Matera. Prices are average for the city and the center.
