Amazing restaurant where food is great and service is amazing. If you want to taste local ingredients, depending on season, prepared and cocked at high level this is a place you must visit. The Marro is made with interiors of sheep, amazing: don’t think you can find anywhere else. Cocked this way. Pasta selection is great and fave with cicoria is an appetiser that will set you for dinner. I saw a spectacular dish on tables near me that is the Pignata. Next time I go I will try some. Menu is rich and you do not go wrong any option you pick. Service is friendly and smooth. Waiting time is just perfect. Restrooms are clean and neat. Overall experience is high level and final price per person is amazingly fair! Thumbs up for Stano!

The restaurant is located inside the Sassi district, with a small outdoor area and a spacious, welcoming interior. The menu is based on traditional cuisine and offers several interesting dishes. The value for money is, in my opinion, surprising. The dining room staff is very professional, always ready to offer advice, and...also friendly, which made the evening even more enjoyable. The price range I've listed also includes a bottle of wine (I'm mentioning this for fairness).

An interesting and more than satisfying culinary experience. The place has a unique charm. If you're looking for a refined dinner in a rustic and sophisticated setting, this is one of the best places in Matera. Just look at these magnificent vaulted walls and these carefully prepared dishes.

Very good food. On the other hand, the welcome was very cold. When we asked for a table inside, we were told it was full, but the next few people were kindly invited to come inside because they were cold! Maybe because we were tourists...
