We were 2 adults and 1 little girl for dinner. We were welcomed to a table on the mezzanine with warm bread and top-quality oil. We took a first for me and a second for my partner. The spaghetti alla guitar with prawns and truffle was exquisite. I tried the second course, i.e. pork cheek with potato puree and carrot and ginger puree with very tender meat, perfectly cooked. Aglianico del Vulture. The presentation, cooking, quality, selected raw materials were the expression of a chef worthy of the name.

Excellent experience, we tasted typical local and abundant dishes. Right quality-price ratio and correct waiting times. I recommend it when returning from a walk among the stones as the place is located in the area.

5 stars are not enough to say how fantastic this experience was. As our first evening in Matera we were lucky enough to eat in this welcoming place both in terms of the location and the unique service of Antonio (whom we thank again warmly for everything) and lastly and not least for the excellent food we ate . Super highly recommended and please go there, you won't regret it. Greetings to the Stano staff. Thank you

A place a stone's throw from the stones of Matera, well furnished and with beautiful vaults! Typical food of the area truly impeccable! Welcoming and very kind staff. As an appetizer we had the fried dish with typical products of the area and the sheep soup with mixed vegetables while my girlfriend ate the pork cheek, all recommended!! For your next visit to Matera it will definitely be a must-do!!

Everything perfect from start to finish. I don't give top marks lightly but this place deserves it, for the quality of the raw materials and the excellent creation of the dishes, not banal but not too pretentious. Prices proportionate to the offer.

I honestly think it's overrated. Certainly disappointing first courses and well presented courses, but the flavors were disappointing: I'm not saying we didn't like them (there were 4 of us), but we all expected super tasty meals and that wasn't the case. Given the not exactly cheap prices, I would recommend trying the Lucanian flavors elsewhere.

Stijlvolle bediening maar duur voor wat het is. Beperkte kaart en dus zeer weinig keuze. Niet echt overdonderd voor toch wel een stevige rekening.

Stano restaurant in Matera is a must-visit! We dined outdoors and enjoyed exquisitely prepared dishes. Although there was a dégustation menu, we chose to order à la carte. We highly recommend the selection of entrées; each dish was a delight to the palate and beautifully presented. We shared two pasta dishes, each more delicious than the last. We would gladly repeat the experience if we ever return to Matera.

The atmosphere of the venue was welcoming and well-maintained, with furnishings that reflected the local character, creating a warm and inviting environment. The menu offered a wide range of typical local products, many of which were new to me. Each dish was prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I had the pleasure of tasting several regional specialties, all very tasty and well presented. The restaurant staff were magnificent. They were friendly, helpful and ready to satisfy our every request. The service was quick and efficient, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Prices were average, adequate for the quality and variety of dishes offered. The value for money was excellent, considering the quality of the food and the service received. I was completely satisfied with my experience at this restaurant. I highly recommend anyone who is in Matera to try this place, especially for those who want to discover and appreciate the authentic flavors of the local cuisine.
