The place is nice, on the Soverato seafront. With a beautiful view. The menu is rich, just reading it made my mouth water! I went with my family to celebrate my birthday and we all had different dishes. The appetizers were delicious! Octopus and potatoes, it was doc! Even the first and second courses, some very particular and perhaps a little heavy, but it's a matter of taste! The only flaw is the waiting time, it wasn't even crowded. Between the appetizer and the main courses we waited about 20 minutes. Then we asked for a second bottle of water but it never arrived. Luckily I looked at the bill before paying, because it had been charged. Obviously I pointed it out and they gave it to us in plastic to take away. The staff was very welcoming and smiling!

We ate with my wife and some friends some fresh salads but the menu is very wide and a very kind boy, Vincenzo, served us. Highly recommended.

Jungle beach

23/06/2025: I have been a customer with my family and friends for a few years at the Trocadero lido. I want to write a review for the restaurant and in particular for Rosy, daughter of the owner Andrea, who is the chef this year. I had a fish-based dinner with some of my friends who were guests on holiday, and I must say that we were very satisfied, fresh fish cooked with the genuine flavours of our beloved Calabria: oil, tomato, onions, DOP... Rosy delighted us with her skill for 2 evenings. Satisfied with the quality as well as the price. I will definitely repeat with friends and relatives when I return in July for the longest summer holidays. Maria Vittoria

La Cantinetta - Dr Pizza & Mr Wine

15/07/2025: A unique experience in Calabria, in a typical medieval village. The waiters speak several languages, and the service is friendly and family-friendly. The owner takes out his guitar at the end of the service to delight us with Calabrian music. Excellent pizzas, very good local dishes at a reasonable price. Payment by credit card. A breathtaking view of the sea and the village square. I would like to give more than 5 stars.
13/07/2025: A wonderful evening at Mimmo's. The terrace is beautiful, the food authentic and homemade, carefully prepared and served by excellent, attentive and helpful staff, including Dutch chef Renee.
