Excellent dinner in one of the most typical alleys of old Syracuse. Good service, excellent traditional local dishes and friendly guys coordinating the service. We had some typical antipasti, all very good (especially the eggplant parmigiana) and two first courses. Excellent value for money.

Today, encouraged by friends who had already been there previously, I decided to go and try it for lunch. I took a plate of tagliolini with prawns, shrimp that were frozen and cherry tomatoes. Instead they were in tomato sauce and not in white as I expected. The very small shrimp were not even visible and there were only three prawns. My friends took two Siracusan dishes. The final bill for what we ate seemed excessive to me. Then for a restaurant to pay 2.50 for a cover charge per person????? There will hardly be a second time.

A wonderful culinary discovery!
The eggplant parmesan was fabulous.
Then we had the clam and shrimp pasta and the zucchini and shrimp gnocchi: a delight!
This restaurant is located on a small street, and the welcome is warm.
We recommend it.

We had a lovely experience. The restaurant is located in a charming street. The food was delicious, with an appealing presentation. We highly recommend the swordfish caponata and the parmesan aubergine.

Nice little place. Food was ok…wouldn’t say I’d recommend it further. I’m sure there are better places you can go to that actually make the real authentic dish. We definitely had better ones. 🙂

While exploring Siracusa and looking for a spontaneous spot to eat, I stumbled upon this place — and what a hidden gem it turned out to be. I had no idea it was such a high-quality, family-run local restaurant. The seafood menu was rich and varied, and every dish I tried was full of flavor and cooked to perfection.
It truly elevated my entire Siracusa experience and left me with one of the most memorable meals of my trip. Highly recommended for anyone seeking authentic, locally inspired cuisine.
