I fell in love with Speedy's sandwiches when I was a teenager (and Speedy was on Via Appiani). Fifty years later (I imagine the management has changed since then), Speedy's sandwiches remain superb. Excellent service, with friendly and helpful staff; a welcoming place, though a bit small, with tables a bit too close together. The beers are also excellent. Excellent value. Reservations are highly recommended, even at lunchtime.

I think this is easily everybody's favourite place to go for a dinner, beer, or just an evening with friends in Monza. Try the cheese cake!

I discovered this sandwich shop thanks to a friend from Monza. They serve delicious, huge sandwiches loaded with toppings at a super affordable price. And to top it all off, the chocolate cheesecake is absolutely amazing. The staff has always been super friendly, and the place is very welcoming and spacious. I'll definitely be back.

01/03/2026: We chose La Madonnina as our wedding caterer, and we couldn't have asked for a better one! From the first meeting, they were helpful, professional, and attentive to the smallest details. Their menu is extensive, and the dishes are wonderful—so good we had a hard time choosing the ones for the menu. They were fantastic in everything, from the initial table selections to the meticulous organization of the day. Beyond the quality of the food, we truly appreciated their willingness to take care of all the "ancillary" tasks, such as printing menus, table plans, confetti displays, and table markers. Everyone was incredibly kind and always available to answer any questions in the months leading up to the wedding, and during the event, they were superb, even changing the buffet layout several times to accommodate the somewhat unpredictable weather. Our guests complimented both the food and the kindness and attentiveness of the entire staff. We loved everything about them; it's a choice we would make again and again! ❤️

07/03/2026: Very beautiful place, a true winter garden, welcoming and well-kept. Intimate and with a top-notch welcome. The staff's courtesy and service were 5-star. There were three of us, and we had a mixed antipasto of cold cuts, cheeses, and warm focaccia, plus plates of arrosticini, three pizzas, drinks, and dessert. Everything was wonderful. Delicious, you could tell the ingredients were high-quality, and even three of us, with sensitive stomachs, didn't feel heavy at all. We went home very satisfied and will definitely be back. Thank you ❤️
06/03/2026: The atmosphere was very welcoming, but my eggplant pizza was terrible. The breaded eggplant was unpalatable, and the pizza was a bit too burnt. The other options, according to friends, were good. Very few alternatives to pizza, just a few salads.
