A characteristic 16th-century building with splendid brick vaults.
I highly recommend the Antico tagliere (excellent!), but don't consider it an appetizer; we had dinner for two, adding only two vegetable side dishes.
The staff were extremely friendly.
Luckily, we booked the day before; when we arrived, there were no other seats available. I see it's very popular with locals, which is another plus.

A restaurant with a splendid view of Piazza del Campo (Siena), offering typical local dishes that are exquisite, delicious, and tasty. The friendly staff were able to showcase their local cuisine to the fullest, advising us on the tastiest dishes.

Only one day in Siena, why not have lunch in Piazza del Campo?
Welcome from the first moment with extreme courtesy, we stopped here. Our choice was well worth it: pici all'aglione and pici al ragù di fiorentina, expertly prepared, accompanied by a generous glass of wine.
We spent a fair amount, highly recommended!!
