Wow, we had lunch today at the Spadaforte pizza restaurant in the center of Siena and I have to say thanks to Luigi, a nice guy who knows how to both recommend their dishes and also welcome customers. Thanks from Giusy and Salvo and daughters from Palermo.

The location is superb at the foot of the Campo, the waiters are friendly and the service pleasant. On the other hand, we found the food average for the price paid.

The owner of the accommodation where we were guests recommended this restaurant to us.
The lunch was really good and the service was impeccable.
The prices are excellent for being in the heart of Piazza del Campo in Siena.
The pici cacio e pepe and the platter are recommended but the rest is also excellent

Alcuni piatti molto buoni, vedi l’antipasto misto, mentre uno dei primi non era all’altezza con pasta un po’ scotta.
I camerieri .. si direi professionali ma meglio se non insistono per portarti nel ristorante dalla strada e se evitano di parlare di questioni private loro vicino al tavolo.
La posizione del ristorante e’ incredibile ma in un ristorante frequentato da turisti mordi e fuggi la differenza la fa trattare i turisti/clienti come fossero tutti abituali.
Comunque siamo stati bene.

Pizza with canned mushrooms is something I can do much better at home and is not something you can accept in Siena. Food loveless and designed for mass consumption. Service makes an effort, but apparently knows that the food is not good and doesn't even ask if it tasted good... The restaurant could do so much more with just a few simple steps...

They were very friendly, they served us quickly and very well, the waiter speaks English and Italian and although he speaks little Spanish at all times he tried to explain to us so that we understood and was very attentive. We ordered pizza, pasta, tiramisu, beer and an aperol, the ravioli are very delicious, I recommend them.

Super nice location with a view of the square and the buildings.
Delicious pizza, wine… with very fast service.
Sheraze is a super nice employee who entertained our 3.5 year old child immensely. With a fun hand game and cuddly toys. The other employees were also super luxurious.
