Soul Kitchen - Vegan & Raw Restaurant In Torino

We've taken plant-based itineraries at Michelin-starred restaurants in the past, and every time we have the opportunity to dine at Soul Kitchen, we wonder why it doesn't yet have a Michelin star or why it's not in the guide. The quality is truly high, and the value for money is still very good. Dining there is truly a fantastic experience.

We visited Soul Kitchen on a weekday evening in August. While from the street, no sign or placard suggests you're at the right place, the entrance—facing the chefs at work—leaves no doubt. We were served by Liu, who was the perfect "guide" as we discovered the dishes we were given the chance to taste. For the appetizer, there was Dal Fiore al Frutto: zucchini and zucchini flower fritters with black sesame seeds and fleur de sel, served with a spritz of rosemary essential oil, and a thyme-infused plum sauce. Delicious. First, there was Pomo d'oro: small Tubetto pasta with a three-tomato sauce, fig leaf, lemon, and breadcrumbs. Perfect. For the second course, we tried the three main courses: BBQ: Marinated Planted steak, carrot mousseline, tomato, plant-based yogurt, and ras el hanout. Perfect pairings. Mediterraneo: Redefine Meat hanger steak, eggplant and potato millefeuille, tomato and mint sauce. Sublime. Radicoltura: Chickpea tempeh, daikon, marinated radish, potato, sesame, basil, lime. Refined. These dishes were perfectly paired with an organic white wine from Piedmont (Cavallotto, Pinner 2023) and a sparkling rosé from Piedmont (Germano Ettore - Rosanna Rose Método Clas. - Extra brut). We would like to thank Liu once again for the attentive service, as well as the chefs who introduced us to wonderful flavor pairings. A true pleasure in every way. Finally, budget-wise, expect to pay around €70 per person à la carte, including wine by the glass.

A very satisfying experience, like every other time. The attention to detail, the food and dishes, the customer, and the location, transforms it all into a wonderful treat.

The dishes were very well presented and the food was good. The only downside was the vegetables in the main course, which were too salty. I found it a bit rigid to have everyone choose the same course. My daughter doesn't eat much, so I was forced to order the menu. I asked to take away the small pastry she hadn't finished, but they said no. Honestly, we won't be returning.

Great vegan restaurant in Turin. Chef Lucandre always surprises us with his delicious, creative dishes. He brings the welcome snacks to the table and explains them. We're impressed by him. The staff is very friendly, pleasant, and unobtrusive. We like the restaurant—inviting, clean, and stylish, set in the old walls.

Personally, it was impeccable from beginning to end. Loved every dish, the restaurant design and the service. Fine dining but vegan at its best.

Treat yourself to this experience; it's absolutely worth it! We're at a vegan restaurant that offers amazing plant-based cuisine that rivals even the best omnivorous restaurants around. My fiancé and I chose a six-course tasting menu, and I also chose the matching wine pairings, and we couldn't have made a better choice. It was a magical and unforgettable evening thanks to the excellent service provided by the staff, who expertly looked after and guided us throughout the experience. Yes, it's a true experience, not just a simple dinner. An honorable mention, for this, goes to the cuisine. Let yourself be amazed and moved by every dish; we were ecstatic and moved with every bite. I once again congratulate the entire staff for the attention, care, commitment, research, and passion they put into this restaurant. I can't wait to come back to you, accompanied again, to finally change even the most skeptical about plant-based cuisine.

Ecco, bisogna chiarire che non è una semplice cena, parliamo piuttosto di un'esperienza gastronomica dove tutto è unico, sopraffino e curato con grande attenzione. Il cibo viene preparato con ingredienti rari e ricette alchemiche ed essendo impiattato con mano d'artista diventa sia squisito al palato che spettacolare alla vista. Ambiente rilassante. Staff gentilissimo. Dog friendly. Insomma ci sono tutti gli ingredienti per una serata veramente speciale.

Premettendo che non sono vegana o vegetariana, consiglio pienamente questa esperienza di cucina vegetale, che mi ha piacevolmente impressionato. Il locale si mostra elegante ed essenziale, con una giusta atmosfera intima; il personale gentile e sempre disponibile, senza mai essere invadente. Dal menù e dalla preparazione dei piatti traspare l'idea di cucina dello chef, in grado di esaltare appieno ogni sapore della materia prima utilizzata, anche grazie agli abbinamenti adottati. Il contoè a mio avviso in linea con la qualità e la lavorazione dei piatti.
