We've enjoyed a great lunch at Sottosopra. They serve traditional dishes presented in a little different way than we've had in Trastevere, but in a very positive way, since it extracted the best out of the ingredients and taste we were looking for, accompanied by a fitting wine. Very balanced and intense in flavour. A very positive surprise and definitely worth a visit when in Trastevere.

09/01/2025: We had a fantastic meal here with our teenagers - excellent, friendly (English speaking) service and amazing pasta. Tiramisu described by my wife as the best she’s ever had. Lovely atmosphere under the lights outside! Love this place

19/01/2025: Very nice and welcoming place, right behind Piazza Trilussa, friendly staff and really excellent food.
16/01/2025: Typical Trastevere osteria, welcoming and well-kept place, efficient and kind staff, the dishes are good and the prices are in line with the service.... when I visit Rome again I will go back..... Other places in Trastevere had been recommended to me but I didn't I trust places where there is a queue.....too much noise and the quality drops...
