Sumptuous appetizer with spectacular and delicious platters. The very tasty cut of meat and, for dessert, delicious scoops of home-made Grandmarnier blackberry ice cream.
If we add to all this the friendliness of the manager, the fast and impeccable service and an excellent quality-price ratio, well... what more could you want?

The true Piedmontese tavern.
Everything was truly exceptional, we loved it! Good raw meat and delicious green anchovies 😋. The first courses are really good and fresh, and the ragù is nice and full-bodied and tasty.
Also excellent are the crescentie (small sandwiches) that you open with the knife that they provide and are stuffed with whatever you choose, in our case lard and Taggiasca olives beaten with a knife. Something phenomenal! We will definitely be back!

I was very impressed with the quality of the food, the service and the atmosphere. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive to my needs, and the food was delicious. I tried several dishes on the menu and all were prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The price is very reasonable for the quality of the food.

Together with three other friends we had dinner at Sottosopra on Saturday. A well-kept restaurant-style restaurant on two floors. A la carte and blackboard menus + wine list.
The crescentine are the peculiarity of the place, we ordered a mixed portion to share. Then everyone ordered a second course of meat (in my case roast with mushrooms), washing it all down with two bottles of very, very good Nebbiolo. Coffee and digestive kindly offered.
Welcoming atmosphere, impeccable service.

Il buon solito posto che frequentiamo da anni. Materie prime buone. Tecniche di lavorazione e servizio genuine e semplici. Buona cantina e buona birra. Famose le loro Crescentine con salumi o pesti vari. Prezzi non sempre allineati, ma nel complesso bravi per tutto. Torneremo come facciamo da qui a dieci anni circa.
