25/01/2025: This restaurant where we stopped some time ago for lunch is really pleasant. Having arrived on site around 1.30pm ๐ almost by chance (in theory by that time we should have already been in Riolunato), we were cordially welcomed by the girls ๐ฉ๐ป๐ง๐ผ of the staff who immediately accompanied us to our table. We then started to browse the price lists ๐ noting the good variety of proposals. In the end we opted for a couple of appetizers based on fried polenta (one with gorgonzola filling ๐ง, the other with lard ๐ฅ, tortelli with truffle, tortelli with meat sauce, a mixed grill ๐ฅฉ๐๐, a pan-fried egg ๐ณ, fried potatoes ๐ and baked ones (which also seemed fried themselves). All very tasty ๐ (the pasta was certainly homemade) and well cooked, despite some oversights (such as a portion of truffle tortelli served instead of those with ragรน, in addition to what has already been mentioned above in relation to the side dishes). the kind manager, with whom we also had a chat, offered us a couple of bitters ๐ฅ at the counter. The atmosphere of the structure is homely and therefore welcoming, characterized by the typical furnishings 70s/80s which nostalgically reminded me of the places of the past. Bathrooms ๐พ clean and tidy ๐ฝ๐งป๐งด, although a general refresh could help. The parking area ๐
ฟ๏ธ ๐ although not immense, it still seemed adequate to me overall. We had a good time so I RECOMMEND IT ๐.
04/01/2025: My wife, daughter and I had lunch in this restaurant which I knew well from previous managements. What can I say... you are pampered, looked after and served as if you were at the home of the best relatives.
The food offering is good and clearly evolving, given that the new management has been under threat for a very short time.
Mixed cold cuts and cheese platter of galactic level and the fillet with porcini mushrooms is also excellent. Excellent price.
Really very capable owner with clear ideas on the type of catering to offer.
We will see each other again without any doubt.
