Sottobosco In Milano

In my opinion, one of the few places in Milan among the countless options the city offers that truly deserves it. Highly recommended!

In a growing area of Milan, you'll find a restaurant with dishes you're unlikely to find anywhere else... Try it and believe it!

A welcoming and well-maintained restaurant, perfect for those seeking an intimate and relaxed atmosphere. The menu is interesting, featuring traditional dishes (braised meats, risottos, fresh pasta), all well-executed. Perhaps a little too "wintery" for the season; it would be nice to see more fresh options in the summer. Service was minimal—there was only one person in the dining room—but it must be said that she was very good, kind, and knowledgeable, despite being the only one managing everything. Price is average for Milan: not cheap.

A very pleasant discovery! A welcoming and well-kept place, with a menu that highlights simple but well-worked ingredients. We tried both a pasta dish and the classic risotto alla milanese: both exceptional, perfectly cooked and well-balanced flavors. The service was friendly and attentive, and the bill was absolutely in line with the quality: honest and without surprises. I will definitely be back, highly recommended for a lunch break or a relaxed dinner!

Locale molto piccolo, con tavolo in condivisione. Menu molto sintetico mentre i fuori menù La sera in cui sono stata io erano numerosi e buoni (l’unico che non c’è piaciuto è la polenta taragna con fonduta di formaggi). Servizio cordiale Cena abbastanza veloce

Ieri sera sono stato per la prima volta al Sottobosco con mia moglie, pur conoscendolo di vista e di fama da anni, sicuramente sarà la prima di una lunga serie. Ambiente raccolto, informale ma raffinato, ottimo cibo tradizionale milanese, curato nei dettagli e nelle materie prime, servizio attento e cordiale, insomma una trattoria tradizionale ma con particolare cura dei dettagli e della qualità. Menzione particolare per il risotto giallo con ossobuco, decisamente consigliato!
