This place is magical....the food, the atmosphere, the polite manner of the guys who serve the tables. Castellina in Chianti is a wedding favor and Sotto Le Volte an unmissable stop....🌟👍🌟

Excellent.. there were 7 of us for the mid-August holiday and we had a great time. Very kind and always available staff. Excellent and high quality food. Pasta made by them and those fusilli were exceptional. The price in line with the quality and the very nice and relaxing environment. We were there we will definitely return.

We stumbled across this restaurant because the place we planned to visit didn't open and I'm so glad we found this place. Best meal we had on our 10 day trip. The ragu was stand out - perfect amount of salt/richness, the tagliata was brilliant and I'm still thinking about the truffle gnocchi 4 days later, delicious

I would dare to say that this was the best restaurant in Castellina. We tried quite a few of the restaurants in the village and this one had the most amazing food and very good quantity served. Highly recommended!

Amazing restaurant tucked away on the outside walls of the town. If you want to feel like you eating like a local and not part of tourist crowd this is the place to go. A wonderful crostini with zucchini and cheese, perfectly balance gnocchi with a cheese and thinly sliced and perfectly seared beef carpaccio. Don’t skip the house wine and the oh so delicate phyllo and cream dessert. This a must do if you’re in the area !!!

08/06/2024: Passing through this really beautiful restaurant/pizzeria, especially looked after by an excellent welcome. We tasted really good and fresh fried anchovies as an appetizer. The pizza was really very good and top quality both in terms of the dough and the ingredients used. I recommend a visit to enjoy Neapolitan specialties even if in a small village in Tuscany....

12/08/2024: Local food excellent for an aperitif or for dinner. Very pleasant environment and staff. The terrace of the village is cool and ventilated in summer and it is possible to eat outdoors.
