Must be one of Castellina’s best kept secrets. Tucked away in the outer defence walls and accessed via the town watchman walk around, this is our favourite return restaurant in Tuscany. Full of local diners with some discerning tourists, like ourselves, the service and food is always excellent with a great Italian atmosphere.

Hemos estado en el restaurante un par de veces y la comida es deliciosa. Es de gestión familiar y realmente les importa. El menú no es masivo pero tiene suficiente opción, la comida está recién cocinada con excelentes ingredientes. Definitivamente lo visitaré el próximo año.

The dinner we enjoyed fully satisfied us. The place is a gem immersed under the vaults of the fascinating Castellina in Chianti. An exclusive and very intimate place, where you are welcomed with kindness and professionalism. The dishes we tasted were truly delicious, a special note in particular for the crostoni with stracciatella, porcini mushrooms and sausage and the wonderful bacon-cooked pork fillet with potato cream and beer sauce, divine. They also suggested an excellent local wine which completed our experience to the fullest. In one word UNIQUE. We'll be back. Sofia and Andrea

Di passaggio da Castellina, abbiamo scoperto questo magnifico Ristorante. Un po' defilato dalla via principale del centro è davvero un posto speciale dove si respira aria di Toscana e della zona del Chianti. Piatti della tradizione preparati a meraviglia. Un fantastico tagliere di affettati con in più un crostino di fegatini e un'altro con cipolla rossa caramellata. A seguire dei pici al ragù di cinta magnifici. Due buoni bicchieri di Chianti hanno accompagnato il tutto. Servizio preciso e molto gentile con Allegra e la padrona di casa, Roberta, con la quale abbiamo scambiato due parole e che si è dimostrata carinissima. Tutto splendido dunque e, se in zona, torneremo volentieri.
