For us Il Sorriso is the family restaurant. The cuisine is always of the highest level, you can find traditional dishes that no one makes anymore. The owners always make you feel at home. The only flaw is that the prices have increased quite a bit but they are still in line with restaurants of the same level.

I had a delicious seafood risotto here. I visited this restaurant as I was staying near by. I arrived early before opening time but was able to sit inside. The waiter was very attentive and patient with an English speaking customer. Later on, all the tables were filled with customers who are clearly local and frequent the restaurant often. I highly recommend a visit.

Classic. Old line. Wonderful food. Terrific service. All in the classical Italian mode. Where you find the locals, you find good food. That exactly describes this establishment. Great neighborhood feel. Very caring staff. Some English spoken. A sure bet when in Torino.

Locale arredato in maniera tradizionale e con gusto. Servizio educato, professionale e attento ai particolari. Completo il menù con alcune proposte, ad esempio il pesce spatola, non usuali, quindi interessanti per chi non vuole mangiare sempre le cose più gettonate. I piatti sono curati e quello che arriva a tavola è di ottima qualità. La cantina è ben fornita. Onesti i prezzi. Lo consiglio e ci tornerò. Roby

Location elegante ma un po' anni 80, personale professionale, gentile e veloce, Piatti buoni, ma carta con troppi asterischi e consiglierei più tipicità alla carta. Prezzi medio alti, Consigliato

Traditional restaurant. It was recommended to me by the reception of the hotel I stayed in. Classic, well-attended environment. Very good welcome and service. Well assorted menu.

Osteria del Fiat

06/08/2024: We discovered a little gem in the heart of the Lingotto district: an osteria where we shared four plates of tagliatelle, ravioli and gnocchi. The name of the establishment, FIAT, plays on irony with its meaning "Fate Infretta A Tavola" (hurry up and eat!). This place attracts workers and office workers alike, all coming for a quick but tasty meal. The service is extremely efficient, without ever compromising the quality of the dishes, which remain delicious and offered at very reasonable prices. The walls, decorated with photos, newspaper articles and old advertisements, tell the fascinating history of the famous Italian automobile brand and the city of Turin.
04/08/2024: Nice trattoria near Eataly and Lingotto Gallery. The dishes are good. At lunch there is a fixed price menu. Outside the fixed price menu the prices are average. The staff is not particularly empathetic but still kind.

24/08/2024: Ottimo servizio ottima qualità dei prodotti pizza molto buona anche lo stinco molto buono dolci fatti in casa menù con parecchie proposte
13/08/2024: Il cibo è ottimo e le ragazze che servono sono molto gentili (Cristina e Sofia se non sbaglio). I tempi del servizio sono piuttosto lunghi, specialmente quando c’è da portare il caffè a fine pasto. Il cuoco che esce urlando quasi quotidianamente ed il ragazzo che serve ai tavoli, sempre malmostoso, fanno scadere questo bel locale.
