I stopped by chance, struck by the old-fashioned window display and the homely style... I'd say perfect and with an amazing quality/price ratio, the tagliatelle with ragù were amazing and the portions were generous! The staff were very friendly!

Inside the Via delle Clavature Market, I was immediately drawn to Sorelle Ribelli, a small restaurant with a unique style. The atmosphere is intimate yet full of character, making you feel at home as soon as you sit down. I couldn't resist the gnocco fritto with mortadella: warm, light, fragrant... it disappeared in one bite! But the biggest surprise was the crunchy, flavorful, and balanced giardiniera. The tortellini? Tiny handmade jewels, with a rich filling and a delicate broth. And the tagliatelle with ragù? An explosion of flavors: full-bodied, rustic, just as you'd expect in a city where ragù is a serious matter. All at a price consistent with the quality and setting.

Tiny tiny place with not perfect service but certainly friendly staff. Hard fried dumplings but the tagliatelle ragù was exceptional!

I was in Bologna and I ate at the Ribelli sisters. The place is very small but the food was good and the employee was really kind. The prices were normal.

Sorelle Ribelli is tucked into a cozy corner of the Mercato di Mezzo and delivers bold, satisfying flavors in a space full of charm. The lasagna was rich and comforting, with that slow-cooked depth you hope for in Bologna. But the standout was the open-faced sandwich; stacked with salame, sautéed mushrooms, arugula, and a generous layer of squacquerone cheese. Creamy, savory, and perfectly balanced. The red-checkered tables and retro touches give it an old-school feel, even in the middle of a busy market. It’s casual, fast, and full of character; great for when you want real local food without a lot of fuss.

I ate a small tiramisu here for €3.50, which is suitable as a snack in between. The taste was very good.

Ristorante El Sabor Italo Venezuelano

23/09/2025: Excellent Peruvian food and atmosphere 🇵🇪🍺🍺🇵🇪
22/05/2025: Review of the Peruvian restaurant in Novara – An unforgettable experience for an Argentine in Italy I am Argentine, I have lived in Italy for a long time, and today I was lucky enough to discover a Peruvian restaurant in Novara that really won me over. From the first moment, the welcome was warm, kind and familiar: the simple but refined environment made me feel at home. As an appetizer I tasted a Sopa de Sancochado, a rich and fragrant soup, full of deep flavors. The broth was intense, with tender meat, potatoes, corn and well-balanced vegetables. A heart-warming dish, perfect for those seeking authenticity and tradition. As a second course I chose the Carapulcra de Chancho, a classic of Peruvian cuisine: dehydrated potatoes and pork in a full-bodied sauce, spiced to perfection. Every bite was an explosion of flavor, which told the story and soul of Andean cuisine. To complete the meal, a pear juice served at room temperature - as I like it - which perfectly accompanied the dishes without covering their flavors. Natural, light and pleasant. The service was quick, attentive and very friendly. You can feel the passion of those who work with love and respect for their culinary culture. I can honestly say that it was one of the best gastronomic experiences I have had in Italy. For those who, like me, love to discover authentic flavors or simply want to travel with their palate, this Peruvian restaurant in Novara is a must. A heartfelt thank you to the staff. I will definitely return, and this time I will also bring some friends.
