A special experience... despite our late arrival in Camigliatello, we stumbled upon this restaurant by pure chance. We didn't expect to find just another "restaurateur" but Mr. Antonio, who welcomed us as "the last mountaineer of the Sila," the "professor" with a big heart...
His stories, his genuineness, and the truly delicious food, with a spectacular first course of porcini mushroom tagliatelle, made this cold day truly wonderful... thank you.

A small restaurant in the heart of Camigliatello, run by "Old Professor Antonio," the last mountaineer of the Sila, the backbone of this place, and his two daughters.
We arrived at 3:00 PM when the kitchen was already closed, but Antonio welcomed us warmly, seating us anyway and rekindling the fires.
We ordered: a platter of 1, an amazing pacchero, and a pacchero bomba. The portions are generous, and all the ingredients are top-quality and organic.
To finish, coffee and a tart, all delicious.
I recommend everyone to go there!!

The owner was very polite and helpful. He took great care to explain to us all the dishes and top-quality ingredients on the menu.
I highly recommend it if you want to experience a traditional display.
The only flaw? The bill was a bit too high. The liqueurs we thought were included in the bill were rounded up.

We stumbled upon this family-run restaurant
almost by chance, and I must say we were lucky. Following the owner's advice, we chose two first courses and a bottle of wine (cheaper than by the glass). Everything was excellent, the dishes were flavorful and not greasy, even the one with ragù. We were also happy to have met the owner, a cheerful and cheerful person who entertained us with his anecdotes throughout the meal without becoming intrusive. Congratulations. I finished lunch with a delicious tiramisu and a bocconotto, both homemade. A place to recommend and try again.

We spent a delightful evening with friends. I recommend making a reservation because the place isn't very big.
We ordered a mixed platter, which came with excellent cured meats and cheeses: excellent capocollo and cacio. The olives were also really good, definitely worth a try.
Then we tried the peppers and potatoes (pepi e patate), a typical Calabrian side dish.
The tiramisu was good, although (for my taste) a little bland... it lacked a bit of yellow!
The bill... well, I would have expected it to be a little less commensurate with the place (pretty spartan and the portions), that's the only thing that surprised me a little.
