Solo Patate In Palermo

We stopped by by chance, thinking it was your typical mediocre tourist spot, but instead we were completely surprised by the quality and deliciousness of the products: crocche and panelle with an authentic Palermo flavor, just like they're made at home, truly excellent! And the fresh French fries were delicious, light, flavorful, and perfectly fried! We were so pleased!

Excellent restaurant, beautiful and elegant. The food is all excellent. The staff is courteous and smiling. Despite the large number of customers, nothing went wrong and everything was delivered quickly. I recommend it.

We had the crocché palermitane and vegetarian baked potato. Both were delicious, with nuanced flavours, and reasonably priced. The owner is kind and we felt good eating there. We also liked how unpretentious and down-to-earth the shop is.

Good quality fries, and a very good portion size for being tiny / three Euros. Delicious and excellent. :) The cheese of the classico was very good, and combines very nicely with the ham and the potatoes (which is good; the potato doesn't have any condiments so it's a dish that must be eaten together, not piece by piece). It was good, nice to try, and nicely flavourful. If you don't like cheese (like me), maybe this is not the best place to go - again, though, the simple fries are delicious and very cheap - because every dish comes with and requires cheese. Very friendly owner (staff?) too! It's a very small place where you cannot sit inside though.

If you love potatoes… this is YOUR SPOT! I went there a couple of times during my trip and it never disappointed!! 10/10

Some of the best fries I've ever had – they taste of potatoes and spices, not of fat. The owner is very charming.
