A truly exceptional place! Everything is delicious, as is the service. Perfect for savoring typical Bolognese food in a quiet place. I highly recommend the vanilla ice cream dessert with Amarene Fabbri 😋😋

My first meal in Bologna was a wonderful experience full of different flavors than I had tried before, it changed my idea of what Italian food is, we ordered very typical dishes of the city, it was the advice of those who served us and those who took me... the lasagna was nothing like what I had tried before... we liked everything and the lambrusco although it is not the type of wine I prefer allowed us to immerse ourselves in the culture of the city 😋😋😋 excellent recommendation SOLFERINO, also the place is very warm, with good service

Helpful and friendly staff. Nice place and very good food.
We were traveling from Rome to Milan and stopped in Bologna for dinner. Of the several places we contacted, this was the only one that found us a table (it was 10 pm and raining).

We ate at the outdoor tables under the portico. The crostini and cold cuts for appetizers were excellent. However, I wasn't entirely satisfied with the cutlet; it wasn't very crispy. All in all, a nice place with some unusual dishes on the menu.

Really cool traditional place with great local food.
Prices are slightly lower than in the more central tourist areas. The staff is super friendly! We had dinner here twice and loved it. No reservation was needed either time, but it’s a good idea to book ahead if you want to sit outside.

Have been dining mostly at establishments south of Via Farini. Solferino continued the pace of fresh quality food, pleasant helpful staff with enthusiasm for sharing their local dishes. lasagne and tagliere were awesome. Went a little non regional with gnocchi with guanciale, asparagus in parmesean cream sauce. Very good after several nights of gramigna, tortoloni, tortellini, and tagletelle with ragu'.
Had a couple of bad experiences in the centro and seem to pay about 25% more for similar quality usually served with an attitude. My dining tip for Bologna is stay south of Via Farina. Plenty of choices, delicious quality meals served by people that are happy to have you.

Partendo che siamo stati domenica a pranzo, siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi nonostante l'osteria fosse piena dalla velocità del servizio. Siamo partiti con un antipasto misto di salumi e formaggi accompagnato da una bruschetta con la salsiccia e le tigelle. Abbiamo provato per la prima volta i Balanzoni, ottimi! La lasagna era bella alta e piena di ragù. Abbiamo concluso con una cotoletta bolognese che ci siamo divisi e che non siamo riusciti a finire perché era molto grande. Ci torneremo di sicuro. Consigliatissimo

Vinimos aquí para un almuerzo de domingo tarde y completo con viejos amigos. Yo era el único americano del grupo, el resto eran italianos, en su mayoría boloñeses, así que pasé más tiempo comiendo que hablando. Es un pequeño lugar maravilloso, la comida era excelente y los precios muy razonables. El plato de queso / embutido era muy bueno, y los crostini eran excepcionales. Tenía la pasta gramigna con salchicha, puerros y azafrán. Excelente mezcla, pasta y puerros cocinados en la cantidad justa. Estaba lleno y tenía un helado simple de postre, pero según otro en la mesa el tiramisú era excelente. Y el precio total llegó a 24 euros/persona. Sin duda recomiendo.
