We ventured to Pescara for lunch in January and found this gem! Bread was the best we had on our Italian journey. Highly recommend Seafood Au Gratin for an appetizer. I had the pappardel sirentta. Husband ordered the clams. Lovely place even in winter. Paolo was our exceptional server! Find a parking spot & GO!

A table for seven, we were seated almost immediately. I had a good seafood salad, mediocre gnocchi with scampi cream, and a very good raw fish dish. The staff, initially grumpy, turned out to be very friendly during service. The place was nice but very warm, the bathrooms were old-fashioned, and the sink faucet didn't work. The bill was very low for what we ate. Overall, a nice lunch.

We dined at this restaurant somewhat by chance, but luck was truly on our side! Kindness, helpfulness, cleanliness, a wide menu to choose from, very fresh and beautifully presented fish, fast and non-chaotic organization. The manager was very friendly and helpful with my kids, always with a smile and a welcome joke. Luckily, we got in relatively early for dinner since we hadn't booked, and in fact, the place soon deservedly filled up. Thank you for the special evening we shared!
