Not knowing the area well, I stumbled upon this place by chance, drawn by the open counter with various food options. I immediately ordered arancini, two different types, both really good. Then I ordered the parmigiana, and as a true Southerner, I can say that was also very good. The two girls were so kind, they even offered me a liqueur. For anyone looking for something fast and good, I recommend stopping by.

I've been to this place and was pleasantly surprised to find two Asian women, a mother and daughter, who run it with such kindness and professionalism. They are truly wonderful people, always helpful and smiling. The food is delicious and carefully prepared, an experience I'd happily recommend!

We ask ourselves: was it really necessary to write an encyclopedia to say you didn't enjoy your meal? Maybe the keyboard glides better than the fork 😉. We don't pretend to please everyone, but we always put commitment, effort, and passion into what we do. We cook for a living, and we do it with pride: between writing and cooking, we definitely choose the latter. And regarding the phenomenon, Dear Fiorenzo, we want to clarify: no one was attacked; their voices were simply raised following a misunderstanding. Sometimes the POS reports a transaction as "denied," which appears to be a charge; in reality, the amount is refunded after a few minutes. That's why we always issue a receipt with the words "transaction denied." If you had shown a document certifying a double charge, we would have refunded you immediately. Regarding the fact that you "gave us even triple," we thank you for your generosity. Next time, however, we might invite you to choose a more "luxurious" restaurant, so you don't have to worry about €12. We continue to do our job with commitment and respect, cooking for those who truly come to eat... not for those who prefer to write novels in their reviews. 😉

My experience at Il Sole di Sicilia was completely different: the staff is kind, welcoming, and always available to recommend the best dishes. There's an authentic, warm, and family-like atmosphere that perfectly represents Sicilian tradition. The food is truly excellent: fresh ingredients, generous portions, and flavors that transport you straight to Sicily. The desserts are a must-try, especially the cannoli and cassata. In any case, I would advise the owners to report the offensive reviews, which also contain racial slurs and are defamatory toward those who work hard and strive to offer customers an excellent experience. Those who criticize with gratuitous malice don't do this place justice, which, on the contrary, celebrates one of Italy's richest cuisines with passion and respect. I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone seeking quality, authenticity, and a sincere welcome.
