We had a great dinner on Sunday night. The food was excellent and included unusual dishes (Norwegian salmon) as well as traditional Ligurian dishes. The sea bass in Ligurian sauce was better than the same dish at the Excelsior Hotel. They have an excellent wine list with many local wines (we are from Sonoma County and love local wines). The service was very attentive. I strongly recommend it. In fact we are returning tonight (two days later) rather than trying another restaurant in Rapallo.

I'd start by saying that the restaurant's location is truly excellent. Yesterday we had lunch outside, right in front of the castle and just steps from the sea. We ordered a selection of raw fish, a fried dish, and seasoned octopus, along with a bottle of Vermentino. We spent €160.00 for two.
In my opinion, it's a bit pricey for the little we ate; they probably charge for the location.

Once again, we had a fantastic meal, beautiful wines, and fantastic hospitality led by Therese and Rudy. There's always something new on the menu, and tonight we had a special olive oil tasting before dinner.
Michelin should come back at least once, not necessarily for a star, but at least a Bib Gourmand. The price and quality are perfectly balanced.

I was truly impressed by the Sole 1936 restaurant! The view immediately catches your eye upon arrival – simply stunning and perfect for enjoying your meal in a relaxed atmosphere. The service was attentive, friendly, and very professional; you immediately feel welcome. I would particularly like to highlight the fish: extremely fresh, perfectly prepared, and an absolute highlight in terms of flavor. Every bite was a delight!

Absolutely amazing experience. Top notch nouvelle cuisine using the Italian classics. Don’t miss the Funghi Porcini, the Vegetarian Spaghettini, the Carbonara and the unique Panna Cotta with basil and olives. Super location, product, service and price-value.

Locale molto accogliente con vista Mare romantica. Piatti di alta qualità a Km zero e molto ben presentati. Siamo stati consigliati molto bene da Massimiliano sia nel cibo che nel vino. Da provare assolutamente se si viene a Rapallo!!!

Ho mangiato un antipasto (gamberi mandorlati buonissimi) e un branzino alla griglia con insalata e pomodori il branzino era fresco molto buono il conto un po’ salato
