The food was good and fresh, the price-performance ratio was definitely good. Unfortunately there were no seat cushions on the chairs outside; they were stored in the women's toilet. Very pleasant, friendly and quick service.

We had no reservation but it wasn’t a high season, we manage to get a table. In the ambient I can see that there is too much work, and the waiters get a bit distracted. When the waiter kindly asked me how was the food, she was rudely interrupted from the other table by the superior. Didn’t want to say nothing after that. Also when they dropes my the steak, the forgot the fork, and it took them 20 min. to get me one, by that tine the meat was a bit cold.

Situato nella piazzetta della chiesa al centro di Pula. Gentilissimi i camerieri e assai disponbili nella ricerca di posti liberi. Cibo carne e pesce di ottimo livello. Prezzi nella media,

Solaria enjoys a great location opposite the church of San Giovanni Battista in Pula, and is a lovely place to sit outside for dinner. It's not fine dining but everything we had was attractively presented, tasty and well prepared, and I certainly enjoyed my first experience of culurgiones. Service is friendly, helpful and slick, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of the dishes. Would recommend booking - the place was packed when we were there, and there was an almost constant stream of would-be diners who were turned away.

16/12/2024: Excellent environment, efficient service, good food. I highly recommend it.
12/12/2024: Tried their steak because it was pretty cheap for a t-bone for €29 but boy was that a mistake. We ordered it medium and it came completely rare and unseasoned, it was bad. BUT the waitress reccomend their Culurgiones (sardinian pasta) and it was the best Culurgiones I've had in the city, probably because their version are slightly chewier and had no mint on it (the traditional ones came with mint and I am not a big fan of that). Their bread is delicious but didn't try their pastries. They also make good Aperol Spritz and their digital menu offers menu in English so that is very helpful, price is okay and I could easily give 5 stars for their Culurgiones and their pretty cafe, but the steak was so bad and their caprese was very mid so I have to knock it down to 4 stars.

20/01/2025: A simple but well-kept and welcoming place. A steakhouse/pizzeria where the food is delicious and the staff is friendly and helpful. They make you feel at home here. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
19/01/2025: Very good pizza. Thin and crunchy just how I like it. The Sicilian cannoli broken down is a delight😋
