The experience at this restaurant was absolutely delightful. The food was exceptionally delicious, with every dish bursting with rich flavors and perfectly balanced ingredients. We arrived looking for a place to have dinner and upon seeing their menu we decided to go in and we didn't regret it. Very friendly, attentive and fast service. Exquisite food, good wines and highly recommended flavors. They had good desserts on their menu. I would return if it were nearby. Excellent flavors and textures.

A wonderful little restaurant with outstanding cuisine and very warm service. The pasta dishes and the Sofia salad are particularly delicious. We were in Rome for 5 days and ate there 3 times. Don't be confused, the door is locked, but you are always welcome. The next time we are in Rome, it will definitely be an ideal place to go again

Such a great experience overall! If you’re in Rome- this is a must! The pasta was amazing, the desserts were a marvel, and most of all- the staff was so warm and friendly. Will definitely be back!

Entrancing. The dining room staff is polite and prepared in every aspect. The place is warm and welcoming. The cuisine went beyond our expectations and that of the other diners. For a quality lunch or dinner it is, without a doubt, a place where you can find everything. The artistic installations are splendid.

16/02/2025: La definizione di "osteria" è pittoresca ma non veritiera per un locale alquanto elegante e abbastanza caro nel cuore del popolare Testaccio. Il menù contiene diversi piatti della tradizione romana: mezze maniche alla carbonara (ottime), carciofo alla romana (eccellente), polpette di carne sul crema di pecorino (discrete), pollo alla cacciatore (discreto), gelato alla Liquirizia (eccellente) e maritozzo (ottimo). Discreta la cantina, gentile il personale di sala. Non aspettatevi di spendere meno di 50 euro a testa per una normale cena ma, nel complesso, uscirete soddisfatti. Prenotare con buon anticipo! N.B. A un centinaio di metri (praticamente a fianco del distributore di carburanti visibile dal locale), c'è un grande parcheggio a pagamento, caro (5 euro l'ora nella fascia serale) ma provvidenziale, poiché cercare un posto regolare lungo le strade del quartiere è un'avventura.
12/02/2025: A nice neighborhood Osteria where the locals spend a pleasant Wednesday evening. Good food, not too noisy, just the right Roman vibe to feel like a local who likes good, local fare. The menu is in Italian and English because this is Rome. Not much mid -Atlantic here, just honest Italian, that we love.

Osteria Del Borgo

24/02/2025: The Osteria del Borgo in Cesano is for those seeking Roman and Lazio tradition far from the chaos of the capital. This welcoming and characteristic restaurant offers authentic Roman cuisine, but with touches of creativity that make it even more interesting. From the classic tonnarelli cacio e pepe to revisited dishes such as the tonnarello cacio e pepe with truffle, really good, enriched by an intense and refined flavour. Also not to be missed is the mixed starter (as in the photo) perfect for sharing and savoring the typical flavors of the region in a single course. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the flavors and furnishings are typical of a local tavern that has well preserved the ancient traditions.
06/02/2025: I make this detour to eat and I must say, passed. If you happen to be in the area, it's worth a stop. I really liked the cutting board
