Nice restaurant, few tables and therefore very quiet environment. Excellent food, now we have tried several courses of the menu and museums disappointed us. The service is punctual and courteous. Price adequate for the food and service.

Good service and value for money

Walked by Sophia’s while sightseeing and it looked so nice we wanted to try it for dinner. The experience did not disappoint. The service was very attentive and the food was excellent. We will will definitely recommend to any friends visiting Rome.

Stumbled upon this restaurant by chance one evening in Rome and what a great find. Great location very close to the Spanish steps. Not your typical tourist trap restaurant which is a plus. Wine recommendations were great and the food was very tasty. Highly recommend and very attentive staff.

Great restaurant in the center, although the location can be associated with a typical tourist restaurant, this restaurant is anything but, it has a great selection of refined and very good dishes and excellent service. I recommend it!

I would definitely recommend Sofia.We had the tortellini and risotto. Both were delicious. We also shared an order of pane. There were at least 4 different types of bread for us to snack on, and all were great. The restaurant was clean and every table had freshly cut tulips on them. The staff was friendly, and the service provided was excellent. Prices were reasonable. Great spot in Rome!

Every time I return to Rome Sofia is a fixed stop for a superlative amatriciana, creamy sauce and excellent fresh pasta, The menu is unique and very inviting, Excellent quality of food. The welcome is also very good. The environment is characteristic, a stone's throw from Piazza di Spagna. Highly recommended!

Un restaurant assez simple, mais agréable. Le service très sympathique, avec un serveur qui fait l'effort de parler un peu français. Des plats qui sont bons (mais par contre, pas énorme en quantité).

Piccolo accogliente locale al centro di Roma. Dopo aver letto le recensioni, ci rechiamo in questo locale, Menu non ampio ma interessante. Il piatto di carne salada, maio agli agrumi, pomodorini secchi e crostini di rosmarino, buono, invece, i bocconcini di parmigiana crema di parmigiana e salsa al pesto, non ci aspettavamo questa scarsa qualità, l'abbiamo finita per non buttarla. Il primo, taglioni al tartufo, ce la siamo divisa, davvero molto buona; per secondo il primo sale con panko e verdure, buono, il filetto molto buono, ma il purè di accompagno, scadente. Abbiamo finito questo strano percorso culinario con una tartelletta di frolla lemon curd e meringa, ed un dolce di fragola, vaniglia, crumble di olive e meringa, entrambe gustose. Il tutto accompagnato da buon vino, scelto dalla buona lista, rossi e bianchi, alcune regioni rappresentate e qualche importante etichetta. Con i tavolini molto piccoli, i prezzi sopra la media non sempre giustificati dalle pietanze ed il servizio troppo ossequioso, il pranzo non ci ha soddisfatti appieno.
