The Best Restaurant on the piste in Pila. Perfect service, food and atmosphere, not the cheapest.. just the best.

We were very happy with the snowcat experience, very well managed and worth it (if I'm not mistaken 20 euros per person, return). As for dinner, I was a little disappointed by both the food and the location. I was expecting a wooden room, warm and welcoming, but in reality we were in the entrance room which was nothing like a wooden refuge, just a completely different atmosphere (it depends a lot on which arrival group you are in). For the food however, from the reviews I was expecting something slightly more sophisticated and refined, the food was not bad, but certainly not unforgettable. Very courteous service. The experience with the cat left a strong impression on us rather than the rest. Maybe next time we'll try the restaurant in town too. In any case, experience with the cat is highly recommended.

Prenotiamo facilmente dal loro sito l'esperienza cena in notturna in baita con salita in gatto delle nevi ed è stato tutto perfetto, un'esperienza nuova, particolare e che suggerisco di fare anche perché il prezzo è assolutamente onesto, forse un pochino caro (20 euro) il costo del gatto delle nevi. Entrati in baita, saliamo al piano superiore, veramente bello, tutto in legno, arredato perfettamente e con gusto, il tutto riscaldato dal camino a legna che fa sempre la sua bella scena. Menù buono, di qualità, materie prime fresche, ottimo il tortino alla zucca su fonduta così come il risotto alle erbe e trota, cottura del riso perfetta. Ottima anche la guancia, tra le più tenere mai assaggiate, si tagliava con la forchetta e si scioglieva in bocca; un po asciutto, invece, il tortino alla nocciola, forse il piatto meno riuscito. Personale gentile, giovane, cordiale e simpatico, piacevole fare quattro chiacchiere con il giovane titolare, ci ha fatto sentire a nostro agio. È stata una serata veramente bellissima conclusa con la discesa in motoslitta, grazie per la stupenda esperienza.

What a stunning location. We first noticed this restaurant as we skiied past it one day. The location looked so magical that we retraced our steps and returned for lunch on Christmas Day. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was enjoyable and the food amazing. This very special place made our Christmas lunch special too. I loved the decor - look out for the little wire men in you are fortunate enough to visit!
