17/02/2024: This place is located in the central area of ​​Pinerolo, behind the Duomo. Despite the name of the Berlin neighborhood, it offers typical Piedmontese food. The place remains small, with the tables tightly packed together. As for the menu, you can decide whether to use the QR code or you can find it on blackboards hanging around the room and a larger one that you move as needed. Furthermore, it changes depending on the period. We took: Appetizers - chickpea and turnip flan with taleggio cheese - Alba - grilled caciocavallo and sautéed mushrooms - egg in purgatory - lard, hot bread and honey Firsts & seconds - Risotto with Jerusalem artichokes - Orecchiette with turnip tops - Pork ribs with honey glaze - Baked potatoes Sweets - Santa Vittoria with dark chocolate, - Caramel Santa Vittoria - Meliga pastries with chocolate cream - Dessert from Miando - Yogurt and chocolate mousse The staff was courteous and ready to explain the dishes if necessary, the service in our case was fast. As for the dishes, we really enjoyed the first and second courses, especially the pork ribs with honey glaze and the Jerusalem artichoke risotto. We appreciated the starters, while we were not particularly impressed by the desserts, very neutral and bland tastes. Prices are low compared to the current average, a positive note: you don't have to pay a cover charge. However, on a negative note, separate accounts are not made, so either everyone pays in cash or one person pays a single bill by card.
