We didn't expect a restaurant like this here. Clearly specializing in fish and seafood - take that too. Oysters great, Fregula con frutti di mare great, Tonno great. Local wines. Very nice and reasonably priced. The service was very nice and quick. You sit on the terrace with a sensational view - inside is the bar and bistro. Clear recommendation with above-average cuisine and a great view!

They recommended this place to us and we were thrilled. The terrace overlooks a magnificent panorama, the chosen dish, seared tuna, was soft and very filling. We also took the seafood tasting, which varies based on the catch of the day, an indicator of quality. I think the tuna tartare was the best I've ever tasted. The staff were helpful and friendly, I would go back!

The quality of the fish unites the familiarity of the place! We were on holiday in Baunei and we chose this restaurant twice, each time finding different but always delicious flavors and great kindness from the staff. Fregula with seafood and excellent culargiones, the mussels and the mixed seafood starter are also very delicious. You dine on the terrace overlooking the Gulf offering a unique panorama. Parking available a few meters away away. Absolutely recommended!

Ate there for 3 evenings and tomorrow we will also do the fourth. 5 star starters but with the second courses reaching the apotheosis. Congratulations, continue like this, you will surely succeed.

The location is amazing with a view… Food is really tasty, well presented and super tasty. The staff is really friendly, fast, always with a smile. Best place in this area. We came 3 times in a week, the other places even in Santa Maria Navarrese don’t stand a chance…. Superb restaurant ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Difficilmente attribuisco il punteggio massimo. Ma a Le Radici di Baunei, io sì, lo faccio. Perché arrampicarsi anche solo per pochi chilometri da Arbatax sulla statale 125 e trovare un posto semplice dove si mangia benissimo, questo deve essere premiato. Lo chef è all'altezza del titolo: bello pensare che dopo l'esperienza all'estero sia rientrato in Sardegna per mescolare le carte: è così che si fa, è così che si racconta il cibo. Servizio al tavolo perfetto, tempi di attesa consoni con la preparazione dei piatti espressi e una qualità di pesce non comune. I piatti sono serviti con eleganza e mentre li assapori voli in quel panorama che regala un pezzo di Sardegna - uno dei tanti - che meritano. Prezzi assolutamente onesti. E cordialità. Stopped here whilst driving through the mountains - service was amazing. They were due to close but stayed open to serve us. Food was hot and so tasty and reasonably priced. Wine was as you’d expect really good. I would recommend and if I was to visit Sardinia I would definitely go there again
