Always welcoming service, excellent food, especially the zingere and bruschetta. The place, though simple, is well-kept and has a spectacular view of the sea. You feel right at home!

As soon as we landed in Casamicciola, we dropped off our bags and started right away with the Zingara bruschetta and waffles. Everything was delicious, with generous portions and a very affordable price. Reservations are recommended to avoid long waits (perhaps it was August). The service was fairly quick, and the view over a sea reminiscent of Sardinia, or rather, Ischia.

Bar Gino in Casamicciola is located on a lovely, breezy terrace with a wonderful view of the sea. The owner, Gino, was welcoming, kind, and very quick to serve us, which was especially appreciated given that we were tied to the shuttle schedule that would take us back to the hotel. His courtesy and professionalism made our experience even more enjoyable. We ordered beers, sandwiches, and a bruschetta with tomatoes and eggplant, which was simply delicious! The bruschetta was also generous, enough for two. The quality of the ingredients was extremely fresh, and the prices were affordable and reasonable. I'm truly sorry I only discovered this place on the last day of my vacation in Ischia, because I definitely would have included it on my bucket list from day one! If you love good food and a sea view, Bar Gino is absolutely not to be missed! I hope your review is helpful to others! 😊

If you want to truly feel at home, eat excellent food (I recommend the "Zingara"), and enjoy a relaxing breakfast, aperitif, or meal with a sea view (you're practically on the sea, literally), this place is a must-see on your itinerary of beautiful Ischia. The staff is professional, efficient, and incredibly friendly. The menu and prices are super fair. I'll definitely be back. I recommend it to everyone.

Accolti con cortesia , praticamente sul mare, in situazione confortevole . Due bottiglie di prosecco da 20 ml, acqua Ferrarelle, patatine alla paprika, e soprattutto una buonissima bruschetta tradizionale con pomodorini e basilico, per terminare caffè freddo . Ottima sosta.

Con la nuova apertura non potevamo mancare e spero che i nostri consigli possano risolvere alcune pecche che proprio non ci sono piaciute. La bruschetta rimane il top ma il sapore dei pomodori non mantengono lo standard qualitativo dell'anno scorso. La zingara, mi dispiace a dirlo, è una delle peggiori mangiate. Mi dispiace ma la composizione, a cominciare dal pane, non è paragonabile alla vera zingara ischitana. Era un panino-tramezzino. Null'altro. Con il pane da cambiare assolutamente. Forse siamo in tempo per riprendere in mano la situazione. La cameriera ai tavoli, infine, sarebbe bello se fosse più gentile perché, capiamo che il locale è sempre pieno, ma servire senza una parola di cordialità e gentilezza non è il massimo.
