Summary: Good, but ordinary. We had a lovely evening together at the restaurant. It's pleasantly quiet, without being boring. You're greeted by the chef, and the staff is friendly, but a bit aloof. The food is also undoubtedly good; we had the 5-course menu. What we missed was that "special something" we would have expected from a Michelin-starred restaurant. From the decor and staff to the food, it doesn't seem as if they place any particular emphasis on offering guests something, but rather on delivering a solid, standard menu. Perhaps this is because many tourists are attracted by the star. We were disappointed that there was a hair baked into the dessert, and apart from a brief apology, this wasn't addressed. All in all, a lovely evening, like in an ordinary, good restaurant, but too expensive. We wouldn't go again.

An evening that will be remembered for a long time. We chose the surprise menu and the wine pairing. The dishes themselves were already a dream, but the accompaniment took everything to a whole new level. Our many detailed questions about ingredients and preparation were answered either by the owner or one of his chefs. The service is very attentive and even answers questions that had nothing to do with the restaurant. Another big plus for us was that we were allowed to bring our dog into the restaurant. I'm giving it a dog paw as an (unofficial) accolade for this opportunity.

The food was great (especially the Salmon Tartare, Venetian-Paris-style liver and a sublime Zabaione served directly at the table from a cooper pot). Compared to last time however, the service was rather mediocre and not very attentive. The red wine bottle was simply placed on the table with no refills when it was time to do so. The most disturbing was the cheap looking food cardboard menu with big letters which is more akin to a pub than a Michelin-starred restaurant. The wine menu however was as good as it gets with me ordering the same excellent Lagrein wine that was recommended to us by the Chef two years ago.

We've been here several times with our children and once again had a fantastic evening! The hosts, staff, food, and wine truly create a very special atmosphere!

Selected dishes with a modern twist. The finest ingredients from the region and select locations, combined with exceptional culinary art. What we were offered here is something I've only experienced in a few places in the world. And at a very fair price, too. Many thanks to the entire team – you gave us a wonderful lunchtime experience...

Really world class food and service. The chef greeted us, explained each dish personally, and met us at the door as we were leaving to thank us for dining with him. An outstanding dinner experience.

Fantastic experience. Exquisite food and long-lasting wines. Spotlessly clean bathrooms. Very friendly and helpful wait staff. Prices are in line with the current market for high-end MICHELIN-STAR restaurants. The warm zabaglione for dessert is simple and idyllic. I recommend everyone to book well in advance, especially during peak season (AUGUST).

Das Menü startete mit einer witzigen Pizza Margherita. Klasse! Danach kam ein Lachstartar mit Wermutsosse, grandios. Die Pici mit Kabelauleber sehr schmackhaft. Das Stubenküken mit Safran wurde perfekt ergänzt durch Lakritz. Der sympathische Patrone empfahl dazu einen Sherry, was eine wirkliche Überraschung und Bereicherung war. Der Apfelstrudel der lustige Schluss. Perfekt alles in allem! Beim Ambiente könnte noch etwas mehr Jugendstil gut tun. Ein absolutes Highlight in Meran!

Una experiencia perfecta para almorzar. Fantástica comida preparada con pasión. La presentación y el servicio fue impresionante. Se burla mucho para una próxima visita.
