Every time we visit Merano, we look forward to seeing Andrea Fenoglio and his team! Here, you inhale pure enjoyment and culinary delight in an exceptional location! Uncomplicated and magnificent! Katalin Huff and her service team are incredibly laid-back and radiate pure joy and enthusiasm! Andrea Fenoglio is relaxed and easygoing, greeting guests and taking their food orders whenever he has time. We were there twice last week for lunch, without a reservation, sweaty with backpacks and shopping bags... no problem at all, we were allowed to choose our own table! The menu included, among other things, liquid pizza, egg with truffles and chanterelles, venison fillet, spaghetti Omega3, green pasta with chicken ragout, filled ravioli with a wonderful jus, modern apple strudel, a piña colada creation, and delicious espresso toppings! The wine list is amazing!!! It really makes you want to try more, as the prices are extremely fair. Many wines are cheaper than in many "basic hotels or restaurants." We discovered our favorites among the numerous sparkling wines available by the glass! After our second visit, we received the special pasta from the Dolomites by Monograno Felicetti as a gift! We are already looking forward to another culinary treat soon.

Excellent restaurant, top cuisine

Within just one week, we found our way to Ristorante Sissi in Merano twice. The owner, the charismatic Andrea Fenoglio, insisted on spoiling us with a completely new, enchanting surprise menu on our second visit. No repeat of the already brilliant first menu – instead, fresh creations that once again captivated our senses. It was a grand culinary spectacle on a plate, imbued with genuine, warm hospitality. In this elegant Art Nouveau space with its sparkling chandeliers and timeless charm, you can feel it: this isn't just a place for cooking, it's a place for living and loving.

A perfect New Year's Eve. Once again, Chef Andrea Fenoglio and the entire staff at Sissi restaurant gave us an unforgettable experience. It was a perfect end to the year in every way and the best way to start 2026.
