The pizza, thin and crispy, is very good. Unfortunately, we had to wait an hour for our drinks and an hour and a half for the food. The atmosphere is very noisy, but perhaps we were just unlucky in booking on a night when something wasn't working properly. It's a shame about the experience, because the food would have made another visit worthwhile.

A very convenient restaurant for a trip to Alba. I found it open on Mondays, which isn't a given. The staff is very friendly, and the food is delicious and beautifully presented. The desserts are spectacular.

21/10/2025: Baia Monte Gelas has become a regular stop every time I visit this area. I'm grateful for the kindness, patience, and helpfulness of the owners, including the legendary Renzo, who always patiently accommodated my every request. The polenta is excellent, with the option of a quasi-all-you-can-eat menu if the entire table opts for the €24 menu with various sauce samples. The restrooms and restaurant are always clean and impeccable. The desserts are also excellent. Advance reservations are highly recommended, especially since you might not be able to find a table at the last minute.
