What can I say? It's a wonderful place, located in a spot that allows for evening events that can accommodate large crowds. A little pricey, but all of Fregene has become that way.

Cocktails and food were great. Had an amazing day here especially with the live dj in the evening and the sunset. Couldn’t have asked for a better day. I must mention transport here isn’t the greatest so plan your route prior especially if not from the area - being on holiday. However, to our surprise, the owner gave us a lift to the station when closing as no taxis were available. It truly made my week. I would recommend visiting this amazing place, just make sure you plan your journey.

We went for an aperitif after a day at the beach. The background music was a lovely atmosphere. The view was beautiful, especially at sunset, when the sun sets.

There's no parking available, so you'll need to find one yourself. There's a paid parking lot about a 15-minute walk away, charging 8.50 euros for 5-24 hours. Two beach chairs and a parasol cost 27 euros, with two complimentary bottles of water. The food selection was limited: a beer, a Coke, a curry rice, and a salad for 43 euros. For your reference, I came here for the popular photos, but I can only say that there's a slight difference between the buyer's and seller's images. Perhaps the atmosphere will improve after sunset. The beach chairs were a bit too close together. Overall, it was a mediocre experience.

Trap Food

27/06/2025: The experience at Osteria dei Sapori confirmed the expectations created by the many more than positive reviews we had read. From the moment we arrived, we were immediately greeted by young, courteous and attentive staff. They seated us outside, a gesture that we particularly appreciated, as it allowed us to enjoy two Campari Spritz and a cigar in complete tranquility. Later, for dinner, we moved inside, where the atmosphere kept its promises: welcoming and comfortable. The menu offers the authentic flavors of Roman cuisine. We started with delicious chips with pulled pork, then enjoyed a superb Carbonara and an excellent Amatriciana – dishes that reflect the quality of the raw materials and the care in preparation. At the end of the meal, a good amaro perfectly concluded the evening, accompanied by water. Osteria dei Sapori is a recommended stop for those looking for authentic Roman cuisine in a refined atmosphere. Excellent value for money, attentive service and a family atmosphere.

Agriturismo La Mandria

15/08/2025: We've eaten at this agriturismo twice. The first time was in June, for a birthday; it was an excellent experience in every way. We chose the set menu and were very satisfied with both the quality and quantity of the food. We returned today for lunch, opting for the à la carte menu as we wanted to try the beautiful dry-aged meat on display. The quality of the food is always good, but the quantity is absolutely inadequate for the appetizers and first courses. Four mixed appetizers cost €20 each, for a total of €80, which was truly meager. The first courses were also poor, perhaps 80 grams of pasta, which I don't expect at a agriturismo. The grilled meat was very good; obviously, the latter increases the price, but that's normal. I therefore recommend customers take advantage of the set menu, or skip everything else and just order the second courses, which are good and in adequate quantities. I respectfully ask the owner: either something went wrong today in the kitchen and/or with the service, or I can't understand the point of serving small appetizers and first courses (which are made with the cheapest ingredients) and doing the opposite with the second courses.
