Second time at this place. What reigns supreme is food. But the staff and service demonstrate a careful love for their work. A smile and courtesy make everything more genuine. Thanks to the wonderful guys at this place.

The pizzeria da Silvestro is one of the loveliest places I have ever frequented. The quality of the food is excellent, and we are not just talking about the pizzas but also dishes such as pasta, fish dishes etc. But what sets this place apart from many others is the management and staff. You will hardly, very rarely feel bad here, in fact you will feel like family, welcomed and served by wonderful people.

09/07/2024: 5 stars for a restaurant that never disappoints. It is a restaurant that offers truffles as a specialty (choice between white and black based on seasonality) and an interesting and valuable menu. The raw material is excellent and the quality of the food is excellent. The service is quick and punctual and the staff is always very kind and welcoming. The location, which was already very beautiful, has recently been renovated and it seems that the place will be further expanded. Super recommended even in summer!
09/07/2024: Definitely beautiful place in a quiet environment. Excellent dishes, excellent wine list. Competent staff, kind and attentive without being intrusive. Medium/low price considering the high quality of what is offered.

Rifugio Selleries

03/09/2024: I have known the refuge for years and so does Massimo who manages it with so much passion. The structure is certainly dated and the building isn't much, but the location is beautiful: the Selleries basin and valley are as enchanting in summer as in winter. The external summer refreshment point is excellent (the fried polenta and the really top fried potatoes) the service is perhaps a little slow, but you just need to have a minimum of patience and you will be served. Prices are lower than those at the bottom of the valley. The access road is long and a bit bumpy but in my opinion any car of a minimum height can get there without problems. A piece of advice for those who choose to arrive on foot, start from the Seileraut village on the beautiful path and avoid the dust and heat of the road from Pra Catinat.
