Signorvino has changed the layout of the restaurant / wine shop, perhaps they have made it even more welcoming than before.
Always good products, wide choice, reasonable prices.
Unfortunately, however, the staff has also changed.
Not long ago the girls were particularly nice, kind and knew how to stay in their place respecting the customers' times.
Unfortunately, the two today (29/03) at lunch ran into me and my friend who know how to handle ourselves very well in the world of wine.
As soon as we sat down, after five seconds she comes and says "have you chosen?" I kindly reply "I'll download the menu, can you give us 5 minutes?" 40 seconds pass and she comes back to the table, same question... I get up, go to the fridge to see what they had cold, ask for three labels that I know well and there are no cold ones, so I consult with my friend about what to drink (with her talking over them to advise us) and she recommends a Cremant (which I already knew and don't particularly like) I kindly tell her and for a moment ok then in the next 5 minutes she recommends it another 2 times.
She was obviously pissed off from the beginning when we asked her for 5 minutes.
Consequently, she passed us on to her colleague and we went from the frying pan into the fire of an inhuman heaviness.
Managers and executives of Signorvino when you hire, do more intense interviews, do training and teach a behavioral dogma to follow, explain that in cities there are not only foreign tourists (who navigate in total ignorance of food and wine) but there are also local people who probably understand much more than the person serving you.
Explain that you are not a canteen but a place and that people want to have lunch or dinner calmly.
Available for any clarification.

We stopped in for a late lunch on our few hour visit to Bologna. We were able to get a table on the patio. The view of the people walking and the surrounding buildings along with music was just what an American needed on their last day in Italy. The menu is digital, but helpful to come with pictures. They do have Wi-Fi, which helps in that matter. The food had more variety than what we had seen other places. The wine selection is large and very reasonable. There is a small service charge added of 3€ to the check as I had noted elsewhere as well with getting bread and table service but in Italy, you do not tip so it was not a bother.

Lovely setting...great idea for enjoying a bottle of wine in a nice setting...execution is the issue. We stopped by on two nights during our stay in Bologna...the first visit, we got a bottle of Valpolicella which our server opened for us...and at which point we asked for a bottle of water...wine was great, water never came but was on the bill...and removed easily at checkout...next night inside, a couple of glasses of prosecco from a new bottle...warm...oops...but...our water arrived...the first night was Thursday...slow...Friday...busier...
Hard to recommend with such poor execution in this lovely setting, with this nice concept.
I have been your customer several times, both alone and in the company of groups of friends. With great regret, I must report my terrible experience, due to the rudeness and arrogance of the manager of the hospitality sector, who without any motivation and professional explanation, given the company in which she works, did not allow us to occupy two tables outside... Absurd... Treated very badly..., creating a negative image for the company in my eyes and in those of my 9 friends present and customers... When asked for clarification on the matter, her other colleagues also did not understand her arrogant behaviour, calling her back to understand better... The manager, making sterile excuses and, lastly, after our, I think, fair displays, said that she was tired and that she had been at work since 10.00... in the morning, perhaps she meant that she works too much and that the company makes her tired... lastly, not knowing what else to say and not finding any motivation, she concluded by saying that the tables were busy….Unfortunately he found a group of respectable friends, professionals and people who wanted to spend some money enjoying a good wine and more…. We spent another half hour and at those tables, in addition to not having written RESERVED, no one sat there... well... absurd... However, due to this, in our small way, I don't think we will ever go back to being your customers, given that arrogantly on the part of your manager, we were not welcomed as the respectable and polite customers we consider ourselves to be. We are truly sorry and feel "OFFENDED". Absurd…

The food is good, without infamy but without praise. The location is worth it, but I would say only in spring-summer when you can eat outside under the portico, overlooking Piazza Maggiore. I would undoubtedly recommend it for the mood, and every now and then I like to go back, but not for the special quality of the Bolognese cuisine
