Siculishh In Taormina

Fantastic intimate restaurant characterized by a pure and minimalist take on Sicilian cuisine, expert and genuine hospitality, and, finally, honest wines with minimal intervention. Highly recommended!

I was here for a wine tasting with 3 glasses of white wine + Stuzzichini for 35€, very good value for money for a tourist town like Taormina. The service here was remarkable: sommeliers who know the winegrowers and their vineyards personally! They both spoke impeccable English and it was clear that they enjoyed their work. They were also willing to offer guests alternatives if necessary (someone was vegetarian, someone else didn't like white wine, etc.). The wines were all organic, each glass was special and completely different in character. Every course was fascinating again. I was also impressed by how the wines went perfectly with the appetizers, a big compliment to the kitchen too. Even though they were “just” appetizers, they were just as sophisticated and creative as the wine selection. Would definitely come again.

We were lucky to find this on gmaps, firstly because we wanted a bit of an earlier dinner than the usual Italian dinner time. Impecabile food, knowledgeable staff in terms of wine pairing, a lovely experience overall. And that gazpacho 💃

Super service and knowledgeable advice about Sicilian wines.

The dishes are really delicious and it's a nice change. But it would be better if the portions were larger, as these are already quite small.

En dehors des circuits touristiques , ce petit local n´a que quelques tables L´accueil est agréable, la carte très courte et le service efficace Par contre les vins proposés sont corrects sans plus, tout comme les plats , peu généreux Ce qui fait que le rapport qualité prix 84€ pour 2 verres de vin local et 4 petites assiettes est juste moyen Ça donne une idée du niveau des autres....

Unique location a bit away from the very busy center. Excellent wines at fair prices. Tasteful food. And english speaking staff

What an amazing gem in a town full of places to go. The natural wines were delicious, the staff were lovely and personal, and the food was incredible. I didn’t take enough photos of the food and wine! Thank you lovely Gabriele and Viola for your hospitality, you two are wonderful and you made one of the best meals of our three week trip in Italy.

Really enjoyed the whole experience. Knowledgeable staff really make it. The food was outstanding, small portions but high quality. Wine selection and good to get some background behind each wine. Highly recommend!

Das Restaurant Siculishh fand ich per Zufall auf Google Maps. Ich suchte nach einer Location in Taormina, die Weinverkostungen anbietet. Bei dieser Suche stieß ich auf das Siculishh. Mir gefiel vom Konzept sofort, dass das Siculishh Food und Wein Pairings anbietet. Ich entschied mich für das vier-gänge überraschungsmenü mit 4 von den Gastgebern ausgewählten Weinen. Viola und Gabriele waren wirklich tolle und zuvorkommende Gastgeber mit denen es richtig Spaß gemacht hat etwas über sizilianische Weine und Ätna Weine zu lernen. Die Geschichten über die verschiedenen Weine zu hören war wirklich aufschlussreich und sie waren stets bereit Fragen zu beantworten. Diese Gastfreundschaft macht für mich persönlich in einem Restaurant wirklich viel aus. Meine vier Gänge bestanden aus Gazpacho mit Burrata (beste Gazpacho meines Lebens), Tagliatelle mit Caciocavallo Ragusano Creme und Mandeln, danach gab es Beef Brisket und zum Abschluss einer Käseplatte. Alle vier Gerichte waren wirklich sehr lecker, die Weine dazu fantastisch. Wer Lust auf diese Erfahrung hat, dem kann ich einen Besuch nur empfehlen. Preislich fand ich das Überraschungsmenü auch absolut angemessen für vier Gänge und die gebotene Qualität. Ich habe wirklich keinerlei Kritikpunkte.
