The cannoli are fantastic, not too sweet! (So you don't get sick of them after a few bites). Their shell isn't overly hard, and they're freshly filled, so they stay crunchy. They don't have candied fruit (I don't like them, for example) or chocolate chips (but anyone who wants them can add them). I've had a few cannoli in Palermo that were as good, believe me. The arancini are also excellent (I had mine with pistachio pesto and mortadella): they're not dry, and the breading is still crunchy after taking them out and opening them at home. In short, try them: I promise you won't regret it! 😉

After years and years, I've only just realized I've never left a review for one of my absolute favorite places. Totally addicted to their delicacies, especially the Sicilian cannoli. Forget the classic ones from bars or pastry shops, forget the taste of ricotta (I hate it), these are something completely different, one-of-a-kind, an unforgettable experience for the palate. I've never tasted anything better. I even brought them to some Sicilian friends who were convinced theirs were the best in the world, and now Siciliamo's have become their favorites too. But whatever this little place offers is a delight for the palate, whether sweet or savory. The staff is always very kind, smiling, and friendly. A very comfortable and pleasant place with a view of the wonderful Piazza Garibaldi. The prices are more than fair and proportionate to the quality they offer!

Tons of vegan options, an entire menu dedicated to them. There were arancini, pizza tonte and pizza al taglio, fried pizza, desserts... everything vegan!!! Highly recommended, super fair prices, and our favorite was the arancini alla norma (vegetarian!).

Honestly, the quality-price ratio didn't convince me; for three euros, I would have expected a maxi cannolo with candied fruit or chocolate chips in the filling.

I went to dinner here with my Sardinian friends, and as a Sicilian, I can say that everything was delicious, even the pastries. Although the classic cannoli in Sicily is mostly made with sheep's milk ricotta, it was equally delicious! The ricotta made with cow's milk just has a more delicate flavor. The place is welcoming and clean, and the staff is friendly. I'll definitely be back! You should go too! 😊

We had a snack in this small but welcoming place, the girl who served us at the counter was very kind, the fried pizzas were simply fantastic and the salmon arancini were exquisite and I say this as a Palermitan!

07/04/2026: We were welcomed to this restaurant by very friendly staff, and the quiet atmosphere is perfect for a quick meal. I hope to return to try the interesting selection of appetizers. In the meantime, I must once again compliment the chef on the spaghetti with clams and bottarga! The fregola pasta was also good. See you next time

Ristorante Martinelli's

13/03/2026: We ordered two tasting menus. The appetizers were numerous and very good. Unfortunately, we were unlucky with the first and second courses. For the first course, they gave us two options: salmon ravioli or squid ink tagliolini with grouper ragù and bottarga. We chose tagliolini. The ragù was delicious, but the type of pasta made the dish subpar. The fresh pasta was too sweet, broken, and soggy, making the dish nauseating. With thick spaghetti, the ragù would have been excellent. For the second course, they only offered cod with yellow tomato and squid sauce. The sauce was delicious, but again, the fish, a bit stringy, was completely out of place. That sauce would have been perfect with sea bass, meagre, sea bream, etc. I wouldn't have expected such a fish. In any case, the selection of dishes was too limited. If I return, I'll opt for the à la carte menu because there was a wider selection of dishes, which I honestly don't understand isn't extended to those who opt for the tasting menu (besides, diners are required to order the same dishes). Very good desserts. Attentive service.
02/11/2025: Wonderful experience at Martinelli's, the food was superb, 10 out of 10. Congratulations! Everything was perfect.
